I would give this place zero stars they were horrible and cruel to my dog. My dog is known for being kind, playful, and loving. He was terrified and they were so mean to him. I would rather pay so much money than get the lower discount with rude people.

From the front office to the adoption(Christina) office, everyone has the pet's welfare foremost. The follow up, the neuter procedure and the pick up time, everything went smoothly! Archie is happy.

Only in California can it be expected to deal with absolutely rude, unprofessional and incompetent staff all supposedly working for the benefit of animals in need,,, sadly not the case here, never has been,, never will be with Kirsten Gross in charge and Animal Control officers like Shane as well as to many others to name, they can't kill them fast enough, can't provide simple basics either, I am sure the triple digit heat helps kill them even faster yet the front office stays cool, is it even legal to release the names of people calling in concern for animals and their well being to the actual idiots breaking the law?? I mean who really thinks that is acceptable? Shane does for sure,, I believe it's more about title and benefits rather than caring for these desperate lives in need, it's as far from a shelter environment as it could get, it's a cold, heartless cement building filled with people who have become so desensitized to actually providing decent quality care to animals whose last moments are often spent surrounded by people who could care less and don't even bother hiding it. So remember everyone if you call trying to help an animal in need, from someone who doesn't have any business owning an animal,,, expect to have your name released to the person breaking the law,, opening the door for harassment from the person breaking the law all due to the person paid to enforce the actual laws.

July of last year I adopted a 5 month old golden puppy named sunshine when I found him on a site for puppy's needing adoption. So we go to the shelter and meat this pup and he was so excited he peed himself lol. We sign the paperwork and leash him up and brought him home. Now hes a year and a month old and doing great! Hes so smart loveable. I am so happy we brought our first dog home hes amazing and so handsome!
