The clinic is very small and parking can be atrocious. You can never call without first being put on hold even if you are the first caller in line. Aside from those frustrations, we have been using BAC for nearly 40 years. Other than Idgie being identified early on as "aggressive" (not a fan of other dogs in her space), we have been pleased with the care our pets have received over the years.

I was using this vet for the past several months and they try to act friendly to you which was nice. But when it comes to the care of your animal they overlook and don’t treat them. They only want to reschedule you for more money. They have sub in vets that don’t throughly do the job they said they would do and then only have the manager call and not want to help fix what they didn’t do…. I highly recommend you do not choose this place and take your pet(s) to a place where you will get quality care. Also would not provide any information on contacts to take it to the next step…. This place should have negative stars

The doctor was very knowledgeable and the staff were amazingly caring for my pet. I am taking one star because the towel that the assistant used to carry my pet in had stains. Also they need to do some maintenance to the sink because when I wanted to wash my hands but the water spilled everywhere and I had to wipe the area because it was embarrassing to make that mess and leave it wet.

For 12 years we had taken our Pomeranian to Burke Animal Clinic. She was perfectly healthy according to the veterinarian. We had all her yearly testing done along with senior blood work and everything came back normal. One morning she was unable to walk and collapsed to the ground. We rushed her to a local emergency veterinarian which ultimately lead us to the difficult decision to put her down. Testing came back positive for Cushing’s and Heart disease. Did Burke Animal Clinic even run testing on her? Surely her senior blood work would have shown these two diseases. For 12 years we trusted Burke Animal Clinic. They failed to provide a proper standard of care and showed lack of compassion during the entire process.

We have seen two of their vets. Both were very professional, seemed to care about the health of our cats, and one even called after the visit to provide further clarification of a diagnosis. That doesn't happen too often. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Colvin and his staff are absolutely amazing. I live 30 mins away in Reston and still will not take my four cats anywhere else! He saved my cat Oliver’s life and I am incredibly grateful. All the vet techs and reception staff are very caring and kind. I’ve never had a bad experience. Highly recommend! Dr Herrity, Dr. Gordon, and Dr. Bakanas have been wonderful too. :)
