It is heart wrenching what these poor four legged living creatures have to go through to find their forever homes. Keep up the great work that you do for all of these animals. I cannot speak highly enough of The Dog Rescuers. Rocco joined our family a year ago and we couldn’t be happier. From beginning to end Joan and her team made sure we were a good fit for Rocco and that he was a good fit for our family. They made sure he had vaccinations, neutered and made sure we had all the information we needed to make the transition to our home smooth. We are so lucky to have found The dog rescuers and when the time is right would always go back to adopt again!

Joan and The Dog Rescuers are the BEST and I find the reviews below very hard to believe. We adopted our sweet Maddie here from her awesome foster parents who were so welcoming and answered all of our questions. Joan was responsive and quick on getting the process expedited. She also provided a lot of information on Maddie as she’s a puppy mill dog so it helped us rehabilitate her. Maddie is a true success story. She is healthy, loves meeting new people now and is much happier! Thank YOU Dog rescuers for saving Maddie’s life ☺️

The Dog Rescuers is a life saving chance and often a “last chance” for so many dogs from different dire situations. We have fostered 3 from TDR and adopted one. Everyone at TDR is all about the health & safety of the dogs, the foster & adoptive family’s… transparency is key within this rescue and always has been. They use top notch behaviourist,’ trainer’, communicator’ & veterinarian service. Our family highly recommend The Dog Rescuers for foster & adoption 💗🐾 🐾 AdoptDontShop 🐾

I do not recommend this rescue at all. Rather unprofessional in their “committee approval process” and communication. If you live in cottage country without a fence you will not get approved, even if you’re a government dog trainer. Really turned us off the process of adoption unfortunately. Hope these beautiful dogs find homes.
