For the last 7+ yrs, Goodlettsville Animal Hospital has taken care of our 2 Shih-Tzu's - ROWDY (Smaller/White - Is SMOKEY'S Dad) - SMOKEY (Big Boneded😂/Brown-ish - ROWDY'S Son) like they are part of the family. In April of 2021, ROWDY unfortunately lost his battle with a skin/foot cancer. G'ville Animal Hospital battled through COVID protocols, to provide every opportunity available to give ROWDY a chance. 5 days after the FDA Approved a new treatment, they had it ready to try. They gave us more than 14 months with ROWDY that we might not have had. On July 19 of 2024, SMOKEY unfortunately passed after a very quick illness. Over the last 3 weeks, G'ville Animal Hospital did more than I could have ever imagined for me and SMOKEY. When SMOKEY would no longer take his medicine, they gave it to him twice a day for me. When I called 100x per day (joking/sorta😂), they always assisted me without feeling rushed. I wish I could remember every staff members name because each and every one of you is very special to me: - All the ladies up front always showed such kindness and compassion with every visit and phone call. I thank each of you so much! Thank You for caring for me, my family, and my dogs! - Every Tech that had to deal with my stupid questions, overreactions, and dumb nicknames (GOOSE😂) I seriously cannot thank you enough for your support, honesty, and compassion! - To every vet (Special Thanks to Doctor Porter because she saw my craziness the most, especially during COVID), y'all truly are remarkable across the board. I can't imagine the emotions y'all go through daily, but please know that you are very much appreciated! It'll be different not having a pet to bring in for y'all, but please know that I will never forget y'all! If you made it this far into the review, well my guess is you're very aware of how great they are and how highly I recommend them!

The best, most amazing team! The wonderful people at Goodlettsville Animal Hospital have been seeing and taking amazing care of my dog for over 6 years. They've gone out of their way to provide exceptional care on multiple occasions. Highly recommend trusting them with the health and care of your animals!

Great location, parking is easy, hospital itself is very clean and does not have the typical funky smells vet offices have. I bring my Aussie here for all his needs. They are very reasonably priced. My pet had an injured paw recently and they saw him immediately.

I’ve been coming here for about 3 years. They’re definitely a large practice but the staff is always kind and Adrienne is amazing! They always bring the southern hospitality and try their best to do the most for my dogs. Thank you so much for taking care of my two pups.

Everyone greeted me with kindness. An most important my fur baby was treated with patience an love. I recommend them highly. I felt at ease the whole time I was there.

I have four pets and have been going to this vet for years. They do seem to care about the pets but some recent staffing changes and very disorganized. I do understand staffing/employee turn around is not something they can always accommodate for but the disorganization due to staffing is a major cause for concern. This has led to negligence in care, lack of note taking on pets charts, medicine refills getting missed or having to make multiple appointments before medicine can even be prescribed. I am very concerned that their negligence may harm someone pets.Take cation.
