Description Service Dogs, Inc. builds better lives for Texans overcoming challenges through partnerships with custom trained Assistance Dogs provided free of charge. We adopt dogs from animal shelters and rescue groups as well as career change dogs from other organizations. Dogs are selected based on temperament, including both mix and pure breeds. Our professional trainers get dogs ready for their new owner using positive reinforcement methodology.

I have had two service dogs from service dogs Inc. They’ve been fantastic and well trained for my needs. I love the fact that they take pound puppies and give them a new lease on life with a job. Not to mention that by using pound puppies, the less health complications I’ve encountered with my two dogs that I’ve had through them. The staff are extremely nice, and I couldn’t thank them enough for all the work and effort that they have put in to creating this fantastic organization.

These folks gave our Cub Scout pack a tour and taught us all about service dogs, what they do and how they are trained. I love the work they are doing! If you are looking for a pet, look into buying one of their drop-outs! It will still be the best trained pet you will have ever had! :)

This group is the best. Formerly known as "hearing dogs of Texas". Westhiemer Art Colony gave Sheri Soltes the seed $ to get started in the 80's. One of the service dogs is used in Montgomery Felony Courts. Petting Ranger and so could inmates changed the whole atmosphere for a scary court . Sorry to hear about passing. Picture is outside DA's office in Conroe. There is a new dog also working courts.

They rescue shelter dogs amd train them to he service dogs for handicapped people. The people who receive the dogs get them at no charge. Wonderful generous group.
