They charge a 3% credit card processing fee. It’s not bad enough the vet will charge an arm and a leg just for a routine visit but they still feel the need to also force the customer to pay their credit card processing fees. Greed has no boundaries i guess. This place is also very busy all the time, new employees every visit, your pet wont get the attention and care they deserve due to always having a diff vet and tech for your visits. I recommend you go to a place where the vet will be consistent so you and your pet can develop a professional and comfortable relationship over the years.

This place is underrated. They always have fair wait times and have always take my new pets for exams. The prices are as competitive as anybody else and the staff is great. They are also very good at follow up and they offer sms reminders for appointments. By far my favorite.

We ended up at Berkley because our other vet couldn't get us in when our dog was experiencing some major digestive issues. The service was amazing and we really appreciate the confidence and knowledge of the vet and office staff. Their service was so great that we plan to continue going to them in the future. Our previous vet never really made us feel confident in their prognosis or plans for treatment. Both vets that worked with us at Berkley made us feel confident with the next steps for our dog. It also didn't feel like they were trying to sell us on something like at our other vet. The prices seemed fair. A shout out to Brittney. Brittney was amazing both times we went into the office. So good with my dog and a great listener. She asked great questions to get informal for the vet and gave clear directions. She also decorated the med bag with stickers and my dog's name! ❤️ It's the little things like that that made our visits here a great experience.

These guys are fantastic. Only small problem is they are so underfunded they do not have plastic bags, medical tape, ice, and likely other basic necessities. They have $46 bottles of dextrose sugar water they were using in place of an ice pack during my dogs paraphimosis. The doctor said that ice would also be too cold and that they had no medical supplies with which to rig an ice pack or something of the like that would allow the cold to be mitigated through a sealed membrane. To think that I could have very well spent $1,600 on a surgery and had my dog and some kind of sedation recovery, medications, antibiotics gut biome recovery etc. We would be in an entirely different situation today because there was an option that allowed them to make more money and someone somewhere pushes it. It's a very delicate balance and it's a very gentle finesse that is required to manage customer service within the veterinary field. These guys are real angels but they're human just like you they're going to have days just like you where they'll make decisions that aren't the best and we have to forgive them. I'm so glad I was able to get some ice from across the street at the Coney Island. Thank you Berkeley animal hospital for not hostaging my dog or making me pay $200 for an emergency diagnosis of sugar water and surgery that would have caused an additional unneeded expense as well as great unneeded injury and recovery atrophy to pet 🐶. Thank you Coney Island, true heroes. June 20th still no issues.

I moved to the area 4 years ago. I've been a client with Berkely this entire time. Have I seen a couple different vet docs in the past 4 years? Yes. But that doesn't bother me. 95% of them were very kind and very caring. My sweet 21 yr old cat soulmate passed 4 months ago, she was given the good rest at Berkley and they were very gentle and guiding. Today was my first time back there for a sweet stray kitty and I got the vet that I genuinely think is so happy to do what he does. Dr. J. Williams. I thank everyone of you there for being awesome with Precious for the last 4 years of her life.❤️ and being a place I can trust for my other fur babies.

Do not go here. They gave me a quote over the phone. When I arrived and was in an exam room the quote went up 25% for the same services. I asked them to honor the quote. They told me I could leave and the $70 deposit is non refundable. Nice way to treat a new customer. I’ve been hearing this place isn’t where you should go. I guess I should have listened. I live two blocks away would have been great to keep the money in my city.
