Description We are a animal rescue dedicated mainly to primates/monkeys and providing them a FOREVER HOME where they will live out the rest of their lives!Everyone here is fixed and not creating life beyond their own!The goal is to give them the MOST COMFORTABLE REST OF THEIR LIFE WE CAN!These monkeys grew up in beds with diapers and clothes, televisions and toys.They have desires that God gave them to be a monkey and desires that Humans taught them that nobody would ever want to give up!! We strive to offer them the best of both worlds to the best of our ability!! They can be inside with their hanging soft boxes with blankets and stuffies or they have their own personal doors to go outside WHENEVER THEY WANT to hunt, climb, swing, or bask in the sun

Fantastic experience!! Loved meeting Theresa and the MonKidz!! Such sweet monkeys, they love the attention and snacks!! I plan on going back soon! Do yourselves a favor and book some time, visit the kiddos and drop a donation if you can. This lady adores her babies and has devoted her life to providing homes for these darlings when unfortunate circumstances left them homeless. Each one has its own precious personality, and it's obvious how much they love Momma!!

What a fantastic and surreal experience! For my brother’s birthday, he wanted to go have a playdate with the monkeys (he’s been dreaming about doing that since he was little). His dream came true today! Teresa is so knowledgeable, and does a fantastic job taking care of these monkeys, and you can see that care and kindness reflected in the monkeys’ behaviors! They are so loving and friendly! They absolutely adored my brother (especially Lulu), and the squirrel monkey is hilarious and so much fun! If you’re looking for an enjoyable experience interacting with these adorable and intelligent animals, this is the place for you! Definitely recommend!

My husband & I drove 9 1/2 hours from Northeast PA. Since I was a child I have had a fascination for Monkeys. It was my dream to have an actual encounter with one. Misfitland gave me the opportunity I have been longing for all these years. I found out Teresa the owner of the rescue offered “play dates” with some of her monkeys. I was ecstatic & booked right away!! After arriving at her property she led us to her family. I say family because she treats all of the monkeys and other animals as her own children. Teresa is a wonderful person, very knowledgeable & friendly. You can tell the moment you walk on to her property how much she cares for these animals. The dedication it takes…the love & compassion she has is amazing. Gunner is the monkey I spent most of my hour with. He is sooo adorable. He loves his belly rubbed. I brought some treats which he was eager to try. I was in awe the whole time. Trying to take in every second of what I was experiencing. I hope those considering visiting Misfitland books a play date. You will not regret it. If you would like to buy some monkey treats Teresa has an Amazon wish list on her website. I purchased some and brought them with me to share with the monkeys. They loved the Papaya & Mango treats. Overall the best experience ever!! ♥️♥️♥️

Had a play date today with the capuchins. All i can say is WOW. I had hands on experience and they let me feed and hold them. Gunner came right to me and he never left my side the whole visit. They are the sweetest EVER.. If you love Monkeys like I do and you want that hands on experience... Check this place out. I promise it's a memory you will never forget.. Oh and you can take pictures 📸 😍 Great Adventure... Amazing time. Untill next time... And there will be a next time. 🐵🙉🙈❤️ Thank you! Tina

My family drove from Louisville Kentucky to visit the monkeys on 1/27/24. Teresa and Ronnie were the best and made us feel so welcome. The monkeys were so adorable and friendly with all of us. The cat was also very snuggly 🥰. My mom’s life long dream of playing with a monkey was finally fulfilled. Thank you Teresa and Ronnie for an absolutely wonderful and unforgettable experience!!
