I recently visited the ER with my little Pomchi Ellie after she exhibited signs of a partial seizure, and I can't express enough how impressed I was with the care we received. Every Local ER clinic was at max capacity and could not accept Ellie. But VEG in Newton took her in within the hour! The staff was nothing short of amazing—they truly went above and beyond. From the moment we arrived, they listened attentively to our concerns and took every step necessary to ensure Ellie received the best care possible. The team was incredibly caring, compassionate, and so kind. They made sure to explain everything clearly, ensuring we understood each part of Ellie's condition. They were also very understanding of our situation and even went out of their way to suggest a neurologist for Ellie, showing just how dedicated they were to her well-being. I am deeply grateful for the professionalism and warmth we experienced during our visit. It's rare to find such a combination of expertise and empathy in a medical setting, and I can confidently say that the staff here exemplifies both. Thank you for taking such good care of my Ellie girl. Every local ER clinic was at capacity and could not see her, thankfully VEG in Newton took her in.

I had to bring in my young German Shepherd, Zane, who is experiencing some labored, breathing, and unusual lethargy. Dr. Sophia, Epstein and the entire team that was there on the night of August 13 were truly wonderful. I really appreciated the ability to stay with Zane the entire time for all of his testing. It definitely helped alleviate my stress at having to take him in the first place. The staff was wonderful and very supportive of not only Zane, but also myself and my sister during the visit. They listened attentively when I talked about the concerns that I had and Zane‘s prior medical history. You never hope to take your dog to veterinary emergency care, but I am grateful to know that there is such a wonderful team available if another emergency situation arises

Definitely don't bring your small animals here they don't know how to help/care for them. Either take them to a small animal specialist or anywhere else but here. I literally heard some of the vets say "I'm not a hamster person " I'm so glad I decided to leave before things could have ended bad.

I cannot express enough how exceptionally caring Veg is. When I brought in my Yorkie, Rocky, who was experiencing bloody stool, I was absolutely terrified that we were going to lose him. However, the staff at Veg went above and beyond to save his life. They were incredibly kind, patient, and caring, and I am forever grateful for their exceptional service. Rocky was severely dehydrated and not eating, but the staff at Veg worked tirelessly to get him back to full health. They diagnosed a condition that had been overlooked by other veterinarians, and thanks to their expertise, Rocky is now doing well. I cannot thank the staff at Veg enough for their outstanding care and compassion. They truly went above and beyond to save my beloved pet, and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of exceptional veterinary care. Thank you, Veg, for all that you do!

Can't say enough about the quality of care and "bedside manner" of the entire staff. I brought my young working dog, a Belgian Malinois named Lenny to the clinic after a day of some concerning symptoms. Lenny is not the easiest to handle, and the Dr and techs did phenomenal with helping him feel more comfortable so they could safely do all the procedures they needed to, always taking into consideration what I was comfortable with as well as Lenny and what would be best for him as far as his temperament and the health problems he was having. They let me stay with him the entire time and let us hang out in the more open area instead of the smaller exam room where he felt a little bit cornered everytime they would need to approach us. A relatively quick visit for an emergency clinic and we were out the door with answers and a treatment plan. I am happy to report Lenny is feeling much better since starting his prescription. I will definitely be recommending this clinic to all my working dog friends should they find themselves in need of urgent care for their dogs!
