The staff is a very caring group. lots of dogs, and cats looking for a good home. I know donations are always welcome. Keep in mind a dog or a cat will be a better roommate than a human, and far more loyal. Remember you can't buy love, but you can adopt it. Pay them a visit, and possibly find a friend for life.

A few years ago I called and did not get help infact the person didn't have any compassion whatsoever nor did they have a desire to help! Last week I started calling and the voicemail has been full since then and not once have voicemails been deleted so that you can leave a voicemail! I have also sent several emails and not one has been returned! I think Robeson County Humane Society helps those they know and the rest of us are just ignored! I can't believe this is a "humane" society when nobody there is humane!

We have been volunteering at the RCHS for several months. The animals are very well cared for and the employees are all passionate about these babies. The employees and the animals appreciate the extra hands from volunteers, and they show it. We happened to find our perfect new family member at RCHS also :)

Such kind and caring people. They take great care of the animals. I went there from Wilmington to adopt Suzie Q. ,a calico hurricane rescue, then met little Lola, a calico kitten, and couldn't leave her behind. Love them both a lot. 💕 Thanks to them for all they do

I love this shelter this is the most loving and caring people working here. Especially Kelly, and mikayla whom I was working with on getting my second pet. They do play dates and work with you to have your second pet for your first. I fostered an amazing puppy from here and they have many more lovable pets there. Please donate to have the shelter running longer And stronger.

My family and I went in to look at the kittens that were available… we arrived at 12:30 the establishment is supposed to be open from 12pm-4pm on Saturdays and as soon as we try to walk in the employee comes out rushing us saying that “our manager lets us leave early if we’re slow and do yall know which animal yall are looking for because we need to close and leave”. The astonishment that me and my wife felt was unreal. We were in the building about 15 minutes and about 5 more customers came in, but the employee said that they weren’t busy? While we were doing the application the employee tried to urge us to take it home and bring it back, it was really unprofessional and honestly a horrible experience for our first time visiting.
