All of the staff at Roselle Animal Hospital have been wonderful to my family. From helping us with our elderly cat, through to adoption of our first dog, and now to adoption of our second, the entire staff has been nothing but positive. Dr. Zinc does a great job at explaining things, and the staff (shout-out to Julie!) love our pups like they were our own (even asking us how they're doing when we bring in the other one for an appointment). They have become a part of our animal family, and I can't imagine taking our furry family members to anyone else!
Just wanted to say thank you to the team at Roselle Animal Hospital. It was my dog's first visit there and they were very welcoming and patient. My dog had a bad neuter experience and has hated the vet ever since. He has a meltdown in waiting rooms and can't wait to get out of there. Everyone was so accommodating and understanding of him. He seemed pretty comfortable, all things considered, with Dr. compared to his last ones as well. I hope this can become his permanent vet home. Thank you again everyone.
Very accommodating vet with great staff. We live far but come here because they always try to fit us in if there’s an emergency.
Wonderful staff, they saved our puppy Willow. When we first got her she was in bad shape thought we were going to loose her. They got her back to shape, now she is full of energy. Thank you Dr.Zink, Julie, Stephanie, Karen.
EDIT: “Not sure who you saw or where you went but it was not Roselle Animal Hospital (there is a Roselle Animal Hospital in New Jersey, perhaps you meant them, we are in Illinois)." mistaking several state distances would be quite the feat. You’re sure it wasn’t Roselle animal hospital? See newly attatched photo. First visit here with my boyfriend was fine. A little pushy on pediatric spay for my large breed dog, but i was willing to look past it. The second visit, while giving my puppy an anti nausea injection, she got away from the tech and vet. But she still had the needle in her neck and she started screaming. She is now, and has been, afraid of anybody in a lab coat (or anybody who looks like a vet, i was definitely being too specific) after this experience. She was probably 3-4 months old when this happened and she is now over two. Myself and her new vet have worked to correct this but i still see it. I believe the third visit, I came on my own, just my dog and I. It seemed without my ex in the room, the doctor was a lot more pushy about having her spayed at six months. Sentences like “when she’s six months and we have her spayed…” despite me making clear i was not interested in having this done to a large breed dog so young. This visit was the final straw and we found a new vet. Her new vet was happy to hear my explanation for why i was waiting to spay, asked questions i was happy to answer and then never brought it up again. My dog was spayed at the appropriate age, and she still struggles with people in lab coats, or “vet looking people” to the answer : i would not make up the age i was told to spay her. It was one of the biggest reasons we left, as the vet kept pushing. I even brought up her recommendation from the breeder to wait. Lab coat or scrubs, she is afraid of people who look like vets after this experience : we brought her there because she wasn’t feeling well, she got away from two people (an older man, and a younger tech) screaming with a needle in her neck. She was not afraid of vet visits before this, and she DEFINITELY is after. Good luck to you.
Dr. Zink is great and staff is too. I have recommended this place to many friends with pets. All have been very happy they went here.
