We rescued Linda last weekend (7-26-24). She's been such a joy. Staff was professional, kind, and ready to answer questions. Animals appear to be well taken care of. Would recommend to friends and family. Also [if they ever see this] a huge thank you to the family that covered her adoption fee. It was such a blessing. God bless you and your family.

On March 28th, I have adopted a dog named Bob, who I later renamed Mozart. The staff was always nice and I know they take great care of their dogs. When I adopted Mozart, he was sick with kennel coughs but the staff made sure that I would leave with a healthy dog. It was a long wait but I was able to bring him home and ever since, he was able to feel comfortable and loved. When I would visit him, he was very much quiet and I could tell he was scared or stressed. But I’m letting everyone know that a dog at the shelter is totally different than the dog you will bring home, just give them love and attention and promise you that you will get the perfect dog. I thought Mozart was quiet but now having him home, he can definitely sing! He is such a wonderful dog and I can not thank the staff enough. He was also able to gain 4 pounds since he was a little skinny when I adopted him. But again, it just shows that these dogs need a little love in order to make them their true best self. The staff is really good with communication and was able to recognize me immediately after my first visit with them. Thanks to the staff and hope all the pets they have go home to lovely families.

These gals who work here are doing their best. They did lose track of my dog for a good 20 minutes on the phone today roughly, but I got him back. I still don’t like how I have to pay so much as a disabled person with a service dog. The lack of respect out of the workers is questionable at best, but it’s the only option so I guess I’ll use free speech to improve the place the best I can. They could use a male working there probably. It’s rather discriminatory I believe to not hire any men.

This was the first time I visited here for the vet/shots clinic, and I was very impressed. Although my dog loves everyone, she also has high anxiety and usually has an issue with letting anyone touch her paws, so I was concerned. They made my 65 lb girl feel at ease, and there were no problems whatsoever! Very gentle and treat your fur-baby as if it were their own. They are low cost as well. 🙂 I highly recommend them! ☺️

Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin provided a safe and affordable option to get my sweet girl spayed. Staff was friendly, they got me in quickly, and it was under 1/4 of what I was quoted at my vet. I will absolutely be bringing my next kitten here to be fixed!

Price was very reasonable to neuter our kitten (around $120). We did go through the clinic (which trains 2nd and 3rd year students). We have also adopted our other cats there and has always been a pleasant experience.
