Description Cat Care Clinic is the first and only cat-exclusive hospital in Ormond Beach, Florida. The practice was founded by Dr. Leslie Nixon. For over 20 years we have been providing specialized veterinary care exclusively to cats. Our services include ultrasound, echocardiography, endoscopy, laparoscopy, laser surgery, therapy laser, acupuncture, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, and an in-house laboratory. The practice is owned by Dr. Amber Carter, who is the only veterinarian in the state of Florida who is board-certified in Feline Practice by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. Cat Care Clinic is recognized as a Gold Level Cat Friendly Practice by the American Association of Feline Practitioners.

I love CCC and my kittens, Maple and Oak, love them too! Everyone is so unbelievably kind from the front desk to the doctors. These people are CAT LOVERS and they call to check on my cats after each visit. My girls feel like celebrities every time they go in - treats, toys, and so many snuggles and pets from everyone. It’s such a calm environment too. I wouldn’t want to take my cats anywhere else.

Wonderful doctors and vet techs. I have taken my adult cat here for awhile for her annuals, vaccinations, etc & have also brought my kitten in for her annuals - as well as to get fixed & chipped. The doctor themselves called before and right after the quick surgery to assure everything has gone as planned and given me constant updates of my little kitty. Very fortunate to have worked with this establishment and will constantly recommend them to all cat owners! Thank you for taking care of my little kitties, i appreciate this team!!!!

Everyone is always so friendly and caring, and the veterinary care is so thorough, knowledgeable, and skillful! My cats have always been handled carefully and with respect. There is plenty of communication so I always know what’s going on and what options I have. I really appreciate that it’s a cats-only practice, so my nervous cat doesn’t have to be stressed by curious/loud dogs in the waiting room. Also, some cats need unique medical care, so I really appreciate the focus on felines. Thank you for all that you do!

I truly appreciate this veterinary office. I have been struggling with a sick kitty since February and have been 3 other vets and a specialist. The doctor at this office truly listened and reviewed all my cats' records. She cared what I had to say and how I know my pet. She also believes in other holistic approaches to care, and together, we came up with a plan that so far is working for my kitty. It was a long journey to get here, and it's not the closest or most convenient place, but it's well worth the drive and the time.

I really wanted to love this clinic, everything looks good on paper and the Dr's are very knowledgable which is what brought me to them however the girls at the front desk can be very rude, snide and dismissive. It makes me want to change providers, they also do not follow up regarding my cats condition or care, they do not explain procedures or offer to send a message to the Dr when they do not know the answer. I don't know why, but the entire front desk seems unhappy, like we are bothering them any time we call or come in. If you don't like what you do, do something else :( The customer service is severely lacking, and for the price, I expect much more.

We had another terrible experience at this office today. I traveled over 45 minutes with an anxious kitty to be treated at a cat only clinic, but the girls at the front desk completely messed up our appointment. I pleaded for them to look in our fur baby’s chart and give us the same topical solution for her skin irritation but the girl adamantly refused. After being patients of this office for several years, it was very disappointing to have experienced this. Wasted trip, wasted time, only to receive terrible customer service. The appointment was made on 8/22 @ 1:41 pm by myself via telephone. Jennifer answered the phone and took my appointment. Please check your records because I would never walk into an office without an appointment.
