Found a lil cutie. It was too young to fly! Found in a parking garage about to get squished! This amazing couple took a bird around 8-9pm!! Really recommend for any hurt or small birds! Such a good educational couple!

Found a hummingbird laying in my front yard during the storms and high winds on July 10th. Called and spoke to Elizabeth. She gave us excellent advice on how to care for it. We dried it out, warmed it up and fed it some nectar. Once the winds died down, it was ready to go and we released it.

I can’t begin to express how special what Liz and her husband, Chris, do to help wild birds. I had the special opportunity to meet Liz in person today and got to see some of their larger birds. I feel lucky to have met you and had this experience. Thank you for caring for wild birds like you do.

The people are amazing! I met a kind woman who habilitates the birds, and she was very helpful. They have lots of different birds. She was even so kind to let us see some of her birds that were outside while she examined the hurt bird we had found outside.

I’m extremely happy I found this place. I live in Kokomo and a vulture got stuck in my yard. Couldn’t tell what was wrong with him but he couldn’t fly. I called every place nearby and no one was willing to help. Called wildcat rescue and they said they could take the call “based on priority”. I found this place on google, gave them a call and they said they normally have people bring the birds to them but when I told them it was a vulture they said they could come pick him up and they headed out as soon as we hung up the phone. The gentleman Chris was amazing with the little guy. He told us that he was a juvenile and could be new at flying so it was possible he hurt his wing. He also said they have foster vultures that help take care of the young vultures they bring in so he was sure they would be able to help him. I don’t normally leave reviews for places on google but I was so happy with the service and help I got today that I had to come on here and leave one. Giant thank you to Chris and the lady I talked to on the phone. You guys were some of the nicest people I’ve talked to and while I hope to never have another vulture stuck in my yard, I know who to call if it happens again. You guys were amazing! Thanks again!

My family and I were on our way out for the evening and have a pair of mourning doves nesting on the the roof of our neighbors, one of the babies fell out and landed on the concrete and was injured. We took him to Liz and she told us wonderful info on how to handle him and so we brought him in, he had scrapes and was very cold cause his feathers weren't in yet; glad we had Liz and her husband to take care of the little one, definitely believe he wouldn't have lasted the night, now he has a chance for sure!
