This lady verbally abused me in front of my house ! Tormented me asking me to adopt one of her dogs ! I went in where she works & she’s nasty ! Yelled at me because she threatened a neighbor! She’s not nice at all! I don’t want her anywhere near my residence

I adopted my new boy from them after I had to say goodbye to my 14 year old baby Bella. The woman who spoke with me and helped me, Lisa, was very kind and you could tell she loves the dogs. This was the first time not going through the SPCA or through a friend, so I was a little nervous. But the whole experience was very pleasant, and they had all of the papers I needed for the vet. Thank you so much!!!!! I highly recommend them!!!!

I called on a dog I was interested in. I was told someone else would call me. After 2 days when I heard nothing, I called back and I was told that although the dog is technically available the Foster mother isn't interested in giving the dog up so quickly. She said they have other animals that are more in need of adoption. I asked well is the dog available or not and she said yes but then she proceeded to tell me all about dogs that were not the gender, size or types I was not even remotely interested in. This was 3 weeks ago and the dog is still listed as available. I don't think the dog is up for adoption. I think they use it as a listing to get calls. I would be very careful what you do with these people.

A Dogs Place Rescue was simply great! I found them thru Pet Finder and we could be more in love with our girl! We had the pleasure of working with Lisa and Maria who responded so quickly to our application. We picked our beautiful girl up in great shape and spirits. They are wonderful and I definitely recommend this rescue!

The adoption process was quick and professional. I got my boy through this rescue and I couldn't be happier with him. They worked with the payment (I did not have cash on me, and they allowed me to mail a check in after I got my guy). The screening process was also thorough-these dogs will be going to suitable homes!

We adopted two dogs from here - we were told that the 3 year old dog was spayed and that she was the mother of the puppy we also adopted. The 3 year old dog went into heat after we had her for a month (i.e., not spayed), and out of curiosity we did dog DNA tests and the two dogs were not related. In general our experience wasn't the greatest - this rescue is disorganized, and we were given false information about the dogs. Furthermore, we contacted them, since part of the adoption fee included spaying the dog. They told us they are getting a refund from the vet, but that they don't believe they should refund us any money. So bottom line they don't pay for our dog being spayed, but we are charged for spaying as part of the adoption fee. If you're considering adopting a dog, PLEASE DO SO. We would just suggest that you find another rescue. I believe the people associated with this rescue have the best interests of the dogs at heart, and we're so glad we got our two dogs, but there are better places to find an awesome rescue dog.
