I picked up my dog Oscar and they were the most friendly staff. He was cared for and loved while he was there. Our family appreciates the care that was given to our baby Oscar. Thank yall so much.

Useless animal shelter. Called them about helping to pick up or trap a stray cat that’s taken up living in my backyard, needs them to take the shelter or help me trap and they wouldn’t help. They only give traps on Mondays (no exceptions) and charge $100 deposit even though the traps are on Amazon for $40. Unfortunately I’m not able to go on Monday so I’m out of luck. So the burden is on you, even though it’s not your animal. You’d think since I pay taxes, I wouldn’t have this responsibility and you’d be able to call animal control to help, but they won’t come out to get the cat.

Do not go to this shelter. When registering pets to the city, I witnessed the lady hit a puppy she had multiple times very aggressively and consecutively. The man who was overseeing her also hit the dog. All the puppy did was growl a bit and be a puppy. This is a shelter that is supposed to be about protecting dogs yet who knows how many dogs they are hitting and abusing behind closed doors. The other people there also appeared very shock they were openly hitting a dog in front of us so much.

Staff was very friendly and helpful regarding info on registration of family dogs. It is a small shelter.
