I have been going to this vet for 24 years and I called today a 4pm for an emergency visit my dog got into something and had a very bad Allergic reaction. I was crying to the person that answered my call. They don’t close until 6 PM and told me to go to an emergency vet. I take all 4 Of my animals here and will not be taking them after today. Prairie Animal hospital vet Took her with no hesitation. He got my dog in at the end of the day and never even seen her before. I’m very disappointed in Madison Road vet clinic. Will NEVER return!!!!! This is what my dog looked like that they refused to see

I highly recommend this Vet. I have an XL Bully and they treat him like there own. He swallowed a sock, I was so scared he would need surgery but luckily they had these eye drops that made him evacuate his belly and out came the sock. 100% recommended.

I have many cats including 12 at home and the feral colony of 50 plus cats that I feed and care for daily. I used to take my animals to another popular vet clinic over by the hospital but every time I brought one in and was quoted a price by the time I left the clinic I ended up paying double and sometimes almost triple what I was quoted. Out of frustration and feeling like I was taken advantage of I decided to change vets. Now when I am quoted a price it is the price I pay and their prices are much cheaper and they aren’t trying to upsell me with unnecessary additional meds or unneeded procedures. Plus the vets on staff are much more caring and empathic and not looking like profiteers capitalizing on our worries and grief. Definitely highly recommend this clinic.

Chloe decided at 12.5 years of age to eat her dog bed and was suffering from an obstruction. I was able to get an appointment at Madison Road Vet Clinic the same day that I called. We saw Dr. Oldenburg and I was so impressed with the care she provided. She was thorough in her examination, was compassionate, and took her time explaining Chloe’s diagnosis and treatment options. Chloe was able to undergo surgery the very next day. Upon picking Chloe up after surgery, I was provided with a detailed care plan. We are very grateful for the staff at Madison Road Vet Clinic for taking such good care of our ol’ gal. I would recommend Madison Road Vet Clinic to any pet parent. The only suggestion I have is for the quotes to be more accurate. I was not expecting to pay $200+ more than the quote I was given the day before. When questioned, I was told that the doctor had to take an extended amount of time during surgery compared to what was quoted. I would suggest they quote “high” so there isn’t a shock at checkout.

They are great. We take our Rabbit there. They have great customer service, they educate us, they treat our rabbit well and are very reasonable priced. They even agreed to cut his nails for free after an appointment. We would highly recommend them as Veterinarians. We're very happy here.
