Description Hope in the Valley is a 501(c)3 non-profit equine rescue for horses in need. Hope exists to rescue, rehabilitate, reconnect, and re-home horses, mules, and donkeys. A 100% volunteer organization, your donations go directly to providing care for the herd. Open by appointment.

We were visiting family in the area and decided to tour this sanctuary. Honestly, it's an awesome local resource that really cares about the horses and donkeys it rescues. It's entirely volunteer run and relies on donations to pay for everything. If you are looking for a great nonprofit to donate to, I highly recommend this one!

The horses and donkeys looked wonderful. The people were friendly and took the time to tell you about each horse you ask about. WPD mounts were there, where I learned they had a horse that was adopted from Hope and getting ready to adopt another one! Love them all!

I attended the open house this last Sunday, you could tell that the volunteers really love the horses. They were very informed about each horse. I will be visiting again

Great Place to go for community service, or if you need your weekly horse fix. You can help with daily chores or special projects or just hug a horse. So many sweet horses that need love a care.

It was fun took my granddaughter and friend there my granddaughter got to feed the horse with the apple we got that day

The owners do very well at taking care of the horses. They are always willing to help you understand traits of the horses and are very knowledgeable of their care. The volunteers are very sweet and enjoyable to talk to. This is a great place to think about getting a rescue horse.
