PAWS is a Municipal Shelter that serves Riverton, Wyoming and Fremont County's impound via the Sheriff's Department. They are small but mighty. They are improving their services and care with the support of caring community members like you. Reach out to them today to find out how you can volunteer, foster, adopt or donate! You can help PAWS the most simply by getting involved!

I have been trying to contact them about cats who I rescued as kittens from being killed by a tractor trailer. Both are neutered males, No reply from them at all. I've emailed atleast twice. I hate to just drop them off and leave them.

I adopted a wonderful dog from them. She was fixed and had her shots and tags, plus she was chipped too! They offer obedience services as well. Adopt a pet from them! You cant go wrong. They take amazing care of the animals and it is a no kill shelter. I cant give enough praise to them for all that they do with the community and the animals in their care.

Gina helped us adopt a beautiful, well behaved young dog! We're very pleased with her too!

Friendly and helpful staff. All of the animals are well cared for. They were enjoying the outdoors when we went by today. I've also seen the puppies out running in a side yard like area. I would highly recommend them. They truly care about the animals and want to get them good homes.
