I Love the owner she’s very straight forward and honest about the dogs. I came in there ready to get my second fur baby with my husband and we fell in love with this girl! They also helped convince my husband to let me get her 😅💕 he was worried but now he loves her and she’s a perfect fit into the family! He’s even napping on the floor with her and our other fur baby Hahaha

Went up here early when they first opened around 9 to get a kitten the cats they had in there looked like their neuter wounds were unprofessionally done and their litter boxes hadn’t been changed in a while. The older lady that was working the front desk was oblivious to what was going on couldn’t really give me correct information on the animals and beware cause the folks there are unsanitary . I was heading out of the shelter to leave and the lady at the front was digging in her nose while working on paper work in the front office area and continued as I said bye hitting the corner. Would not recommend. UPDATE: yes it was this animal shelter and the date I went up there was September 8 and yes there were a few older cats that were neutered and badly looking.

My husband and I found a dog wandering around the Walmart parking lot alone so we picked him up so he wouldn’t get hurt. We have been trying to find him a home but have been unsuccessful. We can not keep him because our kids are due to come here in December, my son has bad allergies and asthma. We called the shelter and the lady was very rude on the phone, she said that even though we found the dog at Walmart they won’t accept the dog because my husband is a soldier living on base and hung up on him. So now we have no one that will take the dog and our only other option is to put the dog we tried to save from harm down. Don’t save any dogs you can’t keep if you live on base.

My son and I went to adopt two new cats from the animal shelter. The staff was amazing. We wound up adopting Scotch who had only been in the shelter for a day, and Fluffy who had been there for a while. Fluffy whom is a female was so chill and sweet. Scotch was the same way. The staff shared with us their stories. Fluffy whos name has been changed to Whiskey to go with her brother Scotch has settled into the house and loves our dogs. These two are absolutely the the perfect fit for our family. Thank you for all that you do for these fur babies.

Adopted a pup from them few months ago. I already had a full grown male American bully who loves everyone and everything, he’s so friendly and sweet that he is scared of a two pound kitten. So good with all animals and people. The pup we adopted was a boy but he was only 4 months oldish. He was with his litter mates when we met him. Soon as he met my older dog after slowly introducing them the pup was HIGHLY Aggressive towards my male. To the point I had to separate them before he hurt my older dog. I decided to try a few tactics from Caesar the dog whisperer and let them get used to each other smelling each others kennels trying to correct dominance etc. after a week the pup got worse even after attempting things with a muzzle. Brought the pup back and they tried to tell me have I whipped him? I said I’ve popped his nose once but it didn’t work they then told me to hit him harder 😒 I refuse to abuse this animal. So when I brought him back they tested him on one of their older female dogs and he started somewhat snapping but they then blamed my older dog saying it was his fault not the pups. My bf was with me they kept trying to tell us why this was happening blaming our dog and my bf told them he doesn’t wanna hear it that we are returning the pup anyways. They then got super rude told my boyfriend that he was GOING to listen to them or he can get out of their building! So at that point I walked out left the pup there. Never will adopt again nor will I be adopting from them for sure!
