Today we had to say goodbye to my son’s best friend, his constant companion, the dog who became his shadow from the time he was a toddler. I knew this day would be extremely hard for our family. I had no idea the compassion we would be met with. We were offered to stay outside in the warm summer under a shade tree in the grass by picnic benches instead of going into a sterile room. Dr Kimbrel did his exam and reviewed all options with us with empathy and amazing bedside manner. We stayed for hours with him. They lent my son a brush so he could honor his best buddy and groom him as long as he wanted. There were so many tears and yet I could not fathom a more peaceful and beautiful way to say goodbye. We will forever recall the kindness of everyone at Hardaway. Thank you doesn’t seem like enough to say. But Thank you.

Saw a Dr Gordon today who was a bit more focused on catching a pay day than anything else today. At most 20 minutes into the appointment, we had already taken a ear swab, and cleaned out the dirty ear. We were about to actually treat the yeast infection with drops but my 7 month old puppy wasn't having it at first. A few attempts later I heard him say... well we don't have all day for this. I responded is this ear solution not essential for her healing?? He said it was but he didn't have 3 hours... okay but you do you have the time I scheduled for the appointment do you not? This guy didn't even get down on his knees or adjust his positioning to accommodate my puppy, he literally sat there and told me how I needed to medicate my dog. Bottom line, this guy opened with the fact that he didn't have the time when I had a scheduled appointment for my dog, anything else is him covering his behind. Big disrespect to my dogs safety, and my time. Will not return.

We are so grateful to have found Dr. Kimbrell! It’s been very difficult to find a vet who truly listens to our concerns and that we can trust. Dr. Kimbrell has always gone above and beyond for us and our pets. He always puts us at ease and has the best interest for our pets when treating them. We couldn’t ask for anything more or for a better vet for our babies. Thank you so much Dr. Kimbrell & Hardaway Vet!

Absolutely nothing bad to say about this hospital. The staff were friendly. The vet spoke with compassion, free of judgment and explained things thoroughly. So happy they not only accept care credit, they took on a new out of town patient. They gave daily updates. They saved my cat’s life and I’m so, so grateful!

I have been going to this veterinary for over 20 years. I have been told that they will not refill my dog’s medicine that he needs everyday because I am not going to bring him in for his yearly exam. He is already updated on his rabies vaccine that he got when he was boarded with a different veterinary. I am low on funds at the moment and his medication is very expensive and I cannot afford to pay for an office visit right now. I was told to go have it filled at a different veterinary. Well I did call a different veterinarian and they refilled it along with my other dogs prescription and did not need to even see them. I will never be returning to this veterinary hospital again and will never recommend you to anyone else. Very rude and very risky not refilling a medicine that he needs. It is like my doctor not refilling my insulin because I can’t come in for a yearly visit right now. Not good for his health. Very stupid on your part. Tells me you don’t care and you’re just out for the money.

I brought my senior dog to Dr Jamie Reynolds at hardaway vet and honestly it was the most calming vet visit ive had! She made me feel calm and my dog bailey felt no pain during blood drawings and other work being done. She got back to me very timely too with results. Ill be back for sure!
