This facility is immaculate. The staff are super friendly and helpful. We recently adopted a kitten and the whole process was fun. We got to meet a couple of the cats we saw on the website and spend some time with each. Even with us being there for so long, the staff were patient with us as we decided who would go home with us.

Beautiful adoption experience. This was our first time adopting from Berea ARF. We have adopted dogs at several rescues throughout northeast Ohio in the past. We currently have a young dog we adopted 6 months ago elsewhere and strongly felt he needed a sibling. I searched high and low and came across this rescue and reached out to a volunteer named Rachael for a specific dog on their website. We ultimately passed on this dog because we felt it wouldn’t be a good fit, but Rachael understood our criteria and suggested a few other dogs they had at the rescue that would be a good fit. Needless to say, Rachael is a matchmaker! We fell in love with a beautiful one year old pit bull mix and our other dog fell in love as a sibling as well. Rachael was very responsive and helpful to all my questions throughout the process. The foster was terrific as well and told me everything I needed to know about our new adopted pup. Very great rescue and can’t thank them enough.

We adopted a dog 2 weeks ago from here. The staff, the animals and the facility were all top notch. A huge thanks to Kayla S. for her help. She was professional, easy mannered and certainly gave us some great insight into properly training our new dog. Thanks to Berea Animal Rescue for being able to organize this service.

My wife and I follow the BARF on the Facebook, you should too. And did no one think of the acronym? Anyway, one day she shows me a cat with a tie on and says how cute. I think nothing of it other than our cat wears a tie. A bit later She casually says she’s going to the store. Wouldn’t you know she comes back with the cat! Point being they provided a great cat for us and it all worked out perfectly. We found a Clark to go with our Louis.

We’ve now adopted several cats from here. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. You can tell that the animals are well cared for. I highly recommend adopting from here!
