Don’t bother with this place. Refused to take on orphan kittens when I called them. So I just showed up instead and they still refused because the person that found them originally doesn’t live in Midlothian. Nevermind where I live - the person who has been caring for them for 2 weeks. What I’ve learned from this whole ordeal - animal shelters AND rescues are worthless. I see now why people dump animals on the front steps of shelters - it’s the only way to get them to take them! I’ve tried for two weeks to get these kittens into a shelter or rescue with NO LUCK. I’m at my wits end and can’t care for them any longer.

I was so disappointed in my whole experience there. The inside of the shelter is dark and gloomy and seems to have no insulation for sound proofing. the cats were all stacked up in cages on top of each other in the back area of the same room. i was really surprised at the ugly conditions.
