Were able to accommodate my same-day request for a test I needed for my cat Luna and the staff was very nice and professional. Being a vet is hard when you have to lose your patients sometimes and their owners are so sad but they never lose their patience. They are kind and professional and have a great lobby full of pictures of dogs and cats, their happy patients. Thank you!

My puppy had an emergency. The staff and doctor were super quick to help him. Thanks to you my dog is healthy and doing great. Thank you so much for saving his life ❤️.

Hueneme vet had kind front staff and doctor, but I'd recommend go somewhere with more resources and time. My 8 year old dog was a perfectly healthy Pomeranian with no history of problems until he developed a cough. 3 months ago I communicated to my dog's doctor at Hueneme that my dog got a cough out of nowhere a month prior (4 months back from this review). They did a chest X-ray saying he was perfectly fine. The X-ray and the X-ray reading from the doctor took less than 10 minutes total. I still communicated concern, but the doctor assured otherwise. I do believe the doctor was confident in his brief overview. Turns out I took my dog would be having seizures this last month so I took him to VMSG in Ventura and they asked for him to get an immediate MRI in Access Woodland Hills. In the X-Ray prior to the MRI they found out my dog had a 2 inch mass in his lung with numerous nodules. They assured me this mass did not grow this large in a mere 2 months. My dog was suffering from lung cancer since his Hueneme visit and the Access radiologist stated that he has not been this confident in such an obvious reading of lung cancer in a dog. Access and VMSG were thorough, phenomenal, and just as kind as Hueneme. They listened to me and I felt they took my unprofessional opinion/knowledge of my pet to heart. What I'm trying to say is I'd go somewhere else than Hueneme. The emergency vets also allow check ups and VMSG/Access have AMAZING specialists. Unfortunately my dog had to be put down due to his cancer this week. This month, It took 2 weeks for him to go from a simple cough to seizures and loss of movement. I believe if Hueneme Doctor took more of what I had said into account and took more time on my dog that I could've helped minimize my dogs mass or help prevent it from getting to his brain by putting him down prior to this extreme turn of painful events. Like I said, Hueneme staff was kind. I feel you can get more for your dog by changing your vet or consulting with VMSG or even Access in Woodland Hills. VMSG has my heart though. This review is based simply off the positive feeling I got from VMSGs wealth of knowledge, consultation, and possession of available resources. It was a lot more comforting, even when there was not any emergencies. I still thank Hueneme for trying as I understand I'm not a doctor or expert. RIP my lil guy, my best friend. I wish all of you who are reading this review health and comfort for your pups. Hueneme is not bad, I just feel you can get a bit more of help elsewhere if you have the gut feeling there's more than what the doctor said.

I needed a second opinion and the clinic was able to fit us in. The staff was very friendly as were the people in the waiting room. The walls are adorned with pictures 9f patients. The doctor who examined my sassy kitty was personable and gave her an actual exam which is more than what I can say for the office I saw the first time.

Strangest vet I have ever seen. Waited for at least 40 min just for the vet to come in, examine two things on two dogs. Barely asked any questions, and after examining a skin irritation for two seconds told me the dog must be licking it… without conducting any tests, reviewing history, or examining the dogs in any way other than the one problem area he insisted on seeing records that were sent to them prior and left. Then we were hit with a bill, and the vet tech insisting that was the examination. Prognosis for the skin rash was antibiotics. I will follow up on my review once I see a more trustworthy and thorough vet. As we went to leave he then claimed the exam wasn’t over after I confronted him with his interaction. Spend money on good vets, trust me in the long run it will cost you less. The staff was great, no problem there.

Very nice. And they take the time to talk to you and help you with any issues you have with your pets. The only thing Is is that they shaved my dog in a certain private area And they did it way too close and now she's all red and sore In that area.
