My dog DIED tonight at 8:30 pm. 5 years old. All shots up to date! I took my dog in Monday April 29th 2024. Lithargic. Not eating. They said enlarged prostate. Then changed it to pancreatitis. They said he was getting better. $1,000 and 3 days in their “hospital”. They called ME to say he needed to be picked up today. When I got there, he wasn’t well AT ALL! They told me he’ll get better at home. He was weak, wouldn’t eat, lithargic. In pain. I got him home at 5:30 pm. He could barely walk. He drank a lot of water, peed, then laid down. He still wouldn’t eat. He slept. He then went out to a corner of the back yard and DIED only 3 HOURS LATER!! Only 3 hours after Dr Hamilton said my dog was all better and ready to come home!! Dr Hamilton was his vet. She had NO CLUE what she was doing!!! She misdiagnosed him and KILLED HIM!! My dog was better when I took him in than he was when I got him out of the clinic!!!!! He was only 5 human years old!! Born in 2018. Rainbow City Pet Clinic has INCOMPETENT DOCTORS and charges HIGH PRICES!!! DONT TRUST YOUR PET TO THESE QUACKS!!! These are pics of my dog that they LET DIE!!! Foam at nostrils from dying. Dew on his fur from being stone cold. Bandaid on his front leg from their IV. Dr Hamilton did this!!! Look at their bill for killing my beloved dog!!! That’s $278 + $700 deposit!!!

I am not sure why they have so many good reviews. As far as boarding and other simple procedures for my dog goes, this place ain’t it! I have to wait 20-30 minutes just to drop off or pick up my dog for boarding. Not only that, I have to block my number and call after waiting that long or they won't answer the phone. I understand they are busy, but my time is just as important. If I call you and tell you that I’m there to drop my dog off, you need to come get her in a timely manner. I’ve never had a problem anywhere else. I’ve had problems multiple times here. I use them from time to time to board or for anal gland expression and nail trim because they are cheap as far as that goes, but now I see why. I usually pay over the phone, and tell them myself or my husband will need a receipt when we pick up. Which last time, they needed to “verify that I did pay over the phone” but did not provide my husband with the receipt that I requested. Shouldn’t you all have in your system that I paid? Also had to wait around an hour with my almost 60 pound dog AND my toddler who is into everything for a nail trim and anal gland expression. That’s just ridiculous.

We brought our 11 year old boxer in today to see Dr Hamilton! She was amazing with our fur baby! We had to put her down due to health issues! Dr Hamilton was kind and so caring to our baby while she was administering the medication! Her and her staff made this process a lot easier! Thank you for being so kind and understanding today! Ya’ll were truly a blessing!

I really appreciate how I was able to call at 2:00 to say my dog got hurt and they were able to get him seen in an hour. Not “tomorrow” or “sorry we are booked up” or “you will have to take him to an Emerg vet” That has been my experience at other vets so I was happy. They got him fixed up, a pain med shot and pills, antibiotic and he will be ok. This pic is my poor baby in pain on the way there. So grateful they could see him Quickly. He was doing much better the next day

My local go-to for pet care. Prices are average. Update: they saved my cat's life. She refused to eat and wasn't drinking enough. They sustained her until a IBS diagnosis was made. The medication turned her around and now she's back home and thriving! I don't have the words to describe my relief and joy. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I absolutely love this place! Dr. Hamilton is the most caring and sweetest vet I've ever seen! And the receptionists up front, specifically Halie and Lynn are so sweet and caring and very professional and outgoing! They take time with each customer and really make you feel like family, like you've known them for years! Will never go anywhere else! Good job guys!!!!
