Red Carpet Service!!!Just wanted to give a HUGE shoutout to the Manager Emma. As my first time in Pet Supermarket I approached Emma and ask her several questions about starting a fish tank for my son. She was very supportive, her patience with my family and I were far beyond my expectations. When other employees would disappear, she was right there answering every question I had. She is a big veteran supporter, calm, her customer service was far beyond this world, most importantly she listen to us the entire time. Because of her, by trial and error my son’s tank is doing great. Emma educated us on the importance of keeping a well kept tank. She was very knowledgeable about all her products in the store and gave us key information on the longevity of the fish. I would recommend everyone near and far if you have a pet to stop in this store and ask for her. She is the best without a doubt. Emma should definitely be running her own store. Give her a raise and anything else she ask for. I will definitely be a returning customer. No other pet store can compare. She is a great asset to your team. You will not receive her level of this customer service anywhere nowadays. Thank you Emma!!!

Knowledgeable staff and healthy fish. Good selection of pet products too for varies pets. You can easily shop here for all your household pet needs. *6/29 edit (originally 5 star review)* This location seems to be going downhill more and more each time I come when it comes to staff. As I write this I am STILL waiting for my crickets I purchased, as it has been quite awhile since she started bagging. I've had to sit and watch while she stops mid bagging to talk to her friends that kept coming back multiple times..one of the managers ended up taking over for her on the register since business was nonstop after thah point. This is the worst customer service I've experienced here, and the longest its ever taken to get crickets. Some of the staff doesn't look very hygienic either which can be a bit off putting when wanting to ask for assistance for anything in here. (It's been 12 minutes since I started this and we JUST NOW finally got all our crickets and got to leave, and we had been waiting for her to finish bagging around 5 to 10 minutes prior to the 12 minute wait) I'm not one to normally call out by name but our cashier Juliette was not attentive at all. Even a few other times in the past when the worker chose to talk to with friends or coworkers it has NEVER taken OVER 10 minutes to get crickets (even for a large amount). Everytime she talked to the girls who kept.coming up to her she would stop bagging crickets increasing our wait time. She was also really quiet and barely spoke to us during checkout which made the checkout process longer than it needed to be.

Sunday July 21st, 2024 6:35pm My son and I walked into the store passing the checkout lane closest to the door. I said hello to the young woman that was looking at her cell phone. She looked up but did not respond. We preceeded to the dog toy isle and picked out a giant sized rope toy for our giant size dog. $24 We then headed to the live fish section where we picked out 6 fish we wanted.$120 While picking out our fish I noticed a employee standing off to our side but he then went up to the checkout area where two other employees were. Its now 6:48pm . I waved to him and he made a cut throat gesture to me. I waved again and he headed our way. When he got to us he said fish department was closed now. I asked him why and he said that what his manager told him. So my son and I walked up to the checkout to ask the manager why? if there were three employees standing around laughing and doing nothing. I asked the manager. if one the employees couldn't scoop out a few fish for us. He said corporate told him he can't sell fish 15min before close. Thats dumb. Why stay open if your not going to sell inventory? Just close at 6 45 and have your employees clean and do whatever other tasks they need to accomplish before leaving. The impression i got was that corporate did not want to pay them to stay after close to finish thier tasks. So instead of taking care of the last few customers of the day, the employees were to be ready to clock out at 7:01. I could be wrong, but I doubt it. Don't go there near closing time. You won't be able to purchase certain things. We were going to spend around $150. But we ended up putting the toy back and spent zero. Update: I called the number left in the reply. It's a oversea customer service line. Could bearly understand the representative through his broken English. They had no idea why I would call them. Put me on hold. Lol I'm not exactly sure what they were going to do about the situation anyway. Waste of 14 minutes of my time.

Adrian the manager is so friendly and fantastic ! Helped me with the purchase of an adorable pink toe tarantula and gave me a lot of insight to keeping and caring for one that wasn’t in my research. 10/10 am going to go back for future purchases and knowledge from the wonderful staff. I have been buying feeder Rats from this store for 5 years. The last few times I've been in there the new manager has been very unfriendly and unwelcoming. I was told that I cannot go into the room where the rats are kept to pick one out. I've done it that way for 5 years! The way she told me was uncalled for. I'll start shopping the Venice store, they are much more friendly.

I stopped by over the weekend. I noticed they had a pac man frog which needs a moist enclosure in dry pine bedding. That isnt fair to the animal. I will not be going back to this store
