Description Caring Animal Hospital is a full-service small animal veterinary hospital, concentrating on dogs, cats, and exotics. Our hospital prides itself on giving quality veterinary care in a compassionate, caring environment. We have a strong commitment to preventative care, including, annual to biannual wellness exams, heartworm testing, testing for tick-borne diseases, wellness bloodwork, body condition scoring (BCS), and dentistry.

Dr. G is fantastic. She explained what she observed through tests and her examination and gave us explanations, options, and an understanding of what could change based on test results that had to be processed at an external lab. She is also kind and compassionate during the letting go process. We were never told no, even when our request was unusual. The staff thought outside the box, allowing us to say goodbye in a way that worked for our family. 100/10, will bring future pets here when ready for that step again.

When we first started going here, we really loved the vet, staff and prices. The last couple of years the prices have seemed to sky rocket and the vets seem like they are selling/guilt tripping owners into getting services done that are not necessary. The last two visits, two different vets tried to get us to get our dogs sedated and have x-rays done on different areas of our dogs just to see if there may be an issue based on what the vet felt during the exam. Our dogs were not limping or showing signs of pain in any way when walking and both areas were the legs and we just came in for updated shots, etc. We took them to another vet and the other vet clinic could not find anything wrong with them. Needless to say we went to another clinic because we do not have $1500 to spend on routine vet visits for two dogs because the clinic wont give vaccinations until we do x-rays every vet visit. I was also done with the guilt trips and feeling like I was a terrible pet owner. I was assured I had healthy dogs by the new vet we went to and only paid $200 per dog for all vaccinations, heartworm and a wellness exam. Edit: after reading through the reviews, it seems like others have had this issue as well. And then this places has bots or fake accounts that post 5 star reviews after every bad one.

I highly recommend Caring Animal Hospital, all of the staff there are friendly and helpful. The doctors are all very knowledgeable and take the time to get to know your pet and you, and always give good personalized advice. It’s easy to book appointments through the app or on the phone.

Dr. Cotter and the staff here are amazing and wonderful. Very compassionate and understanding both to the pets needs as well as our needs. Thank you again for the amazing job and trying different forms of treatment for my Peanut girl. It was a long few months but my girl is back to walking on all four paws! Love love love this place

Caring Animal Hospital is the best! I've taken my gang of animals there over the last several decades and always felt the knowledge of the staff there and the care of my animals was beyond excellent. All my questions are always answered and any medications and xray results completely explained. I've recommended Caring Animal Hospital to two of my neighbors and they thanked me!
