always love coming here & contributing to a good cause. animals are so sweet. you can purchase food at the gift shop, and I like to stop by the grocery store and pick up some fruits/veggies for the animals as well. All of the animals enjoy strawberries and bannahs! Staff are super friendly and animals are well taken care of :))

An absolutely amazing place to bring the family or even go on a date! Elain was super sweet and it was very obvious that she has a passion for what she does and loves the animals. The gift shop was super cute and had everything you could want. Me and my family had an amazing time and will definitely go back next time we are in the area! Thank you for the unforgettable experience!

We were there earlier today and had a lot of fun. We got a tour of the place, a lot of info about the animals( they have sad pasts) but it looks like everyone is very well taken care of and happy. Some of the residents came to check us out and we were a lot more popular with them once we had treats for them. We love what they do and hope it can continue for a long time. Thank you for giving us a great experience. We would have stayed a lot longer if it wasn't so hot out.

We stayed here for a couples getaway over the weekend and it was the most magical experience. The atmosphere here is so calm and relaxing. We felt so at ease the entire trip. The staff are all so friendly, kind and make you feel at home. We stayed in one of their covered wagons and it is something I would highly recommend! The wagon was so quaint and cozy but don’t let it fool you, the air conditioning was top notch and the bed was the comfiest I’ve ever slept in. Also, staying on property was such a great experience because you really got to see the every day farm life. There are animals roaming around everywhere! And every animal you encounter from the cats to the pigs to the cows are all so gentle and sweet. They love to eat and we loved feeding them! It was the best part of every day. We truly enjoyed our time here and plan on making this an annual trip!

We had our daughters 2nd birthday get together at Rooterville and the kids had a BALL! The ages ranged from 2yrs old to 11yrs old. It was nice to have the kids be able to run around and be entertained, while enjoying the beautiful sanctuary and animals. The staff was exceptional! We will certainly be back and love that they have create a space for people to come and enjoy being outside and loving on animals.

This place is truly amazing. We had the pleasure of spending the day with Elaine and her beautiful rescued animals. The cow Tinsel in our photos has been diagnosed with cancer but he's been living such a good life thanks to Elaine. We're praying for him, he's a gentle sweet cow. We highly recommend visiting, they can use all the support. The entire sanctuary is beautiful. Sunflowers, garden, fish pond, butterflies etc. We also saw the covered wagon which looked soooo homey, cute and comfortable. This sanctuary is perfect. 1000/10 experience
