We had a dog that wouldn't leave our house. we took it to Putnam County Animal Control, the Dog had a chip. (by the way, the friendliest, most loving dog!) They tried for 10 days to reach the owner. They allowed me to come back and get him so he has a loving home! They are fantastic workers, They really care about the animals.

The staff are amazing & compassionate workers who care about the welfare of the animals under their care. They assured me that several organizations come there to help get the animals adopted. The facility is run down & in a remote location near the county landfill. A worker told me they are getting a new building next year. They certainly deserve better working conditions. They are angels.

I pay taxes. I'd pay more if they just come when they'd say they would. I still have the 2 feral kittens my son caught. People - spay/neuter your pets!! Dang! Animal Control - show up when you say you will. Honor your word or call!!

Everyone was super friendly and helpful pertaining to feral mama kitty and her babies. My husband and I also dropped off some bedding Bleach and badly needed odaban.

They are putting a bunch of dogs up for adoption that have not been fixed or quarantined properly. How do you call yourself an animal rescue, while putting animals at risk?
