I highly recommend SCAR! I’ve been a huge supporter for several years but it was when I went in for a tour that truly impressed me. I’ve been to several other rescues and I have never seen one as well maintained and orderly as this one. The animals are very well taken care of, everything is very clean and they truly are transparent. I love that anyone can come in to tour and ask questions and love on the animals in their care. Two of my favorite areas are the cottages and the play yard.

Applied for a puppy . Got the initial approval then went to the foster coordinator Amanda Nilsson . She was so rude and never emailed me back. She grilled me on how I would take care of a puppy in an apartment ( I already have a dog and she obviously missed that ) then never responded and the dog I applied for disappeared . They say they want to help pets but they were so rude that I was in a k apartment (only for four months bought a house) guess they don’t care whether dogs get homes or not . I do not recommend trying to adopt from here

Exceptional service provided by good people. They have an incredible set up engineered to accommodate the animals and have a great (and safe) play area for the dogs to get exercise everyday. Always adopt if able. God bless em.

Found 5 baby kittens 3 weeks old. 2 would have died had I not went straight to vet with them. The mom was a wild stray that I could not get to come to me.. I have been nursing, give meds and meeting all other needs. Tried to get Scar to help me find a foster for 1 week while I went on a (cruise that is pre paid) .Scar gave me every excuse in the world. I only needed help finding a foster person.. was going to supply all supplies needed and med. They told me they couldn't help me. I said ok, I need to surrender them to you then. They told me they were mine since I had been taking care of the the last 6 days. They could have took them when first found but not now. This is exactly why I have no faith in any rescue or animal shelters. 🤬🤬🤬

Awesome!! They are all about animals rights, great place to get a pet from. I wish they had more places that truely care they do here GOD BLESS THEM

They really care about the animals!! I donated a bunch of old sheets, blankets, and towels for them to use on the animals. But mostly, their focus is on helping people find their new furbabies and the furbabies find their furever homes. They go out of their way to help any animal that comes to their attention!!
