Amazing animals do check it out. This place needs to do better and be better. This is ridiculous they closed off the public only open 4 hours a day and don’t answer the phone or post any animals for adoption. How will they ever succeed? Truly terrible to see people working like this and thinking it’s okay. I wish I had the social media power to put this place on blast. There is beautiful dogs ready to be adopted and they make this place look terrible. The only thing bad about this place is the humans. Please try and look for a beautiful puppy. They need you as much as you need them.
We had a wonderful experience adopting a senior chihuahua here! The first day we visited we were able to see all the dogs and meet and play with the ones who caught our attention. We filled out an application and visited again the next morning to be sure we were certain with our decision. On the third day we went for the last time to pick up our new dog! The staff was very kind and obviously very excited to see one of the animals be adopted. Great experience!
My dog got out and ran away. We posted on Facebook in various different groups. I was sent a picture a few days later of my dog being posted for adoption. I had tried to call them multiple times, NOBODY answered the phone!!! 😡 they won't identify a pet over the phone, they won't answer the phone and they're only opened 4.5 hours a day Monday through Friday. Their website says they're closed Saturday and Sundays and yet they're office building has them opened on Saturday. I was under the impression they weren't open. They posted on their Facebook page my dog available for adoption, AFTER they were closed; I was unable to call, go to their to get my dog until the next day at 10am!!! I commented on the PHOTO that this was my dog!! I show up early to make sure I'm there when they're opened the next day. BEFORE 10am, they updated their post as my dog had been adopted!! I went inside and told them they just adopted my dog out and they told me there is nothing they can do. They weren't even going to let me see her. The woman did not even care that I was the real owner. I got the it's to bad. They don't update their Facebook page so people don't even know they're animals are there!! It's no wonder they have no room for anymore pets. You can't tell me that they accepted applications to adopt my dog after they were closed and were able to find and process the adoption before they opened. These people SUCK!! 🤬😡🤬
We adopted our dog Marvel from the Tooele Animal Shelter March of 2020. The staff was very friendly. It was clear they wanted the best for him. We were able to spend tons of time at the shelter letting him get to know us and vice versa. After adopting Marvel we adopted DC from the West Valley Animal Shelter. Our family wouldn't be whole without them!
I called in first thing Monday morning. Come to find out that they had my dog since Friday. I asked why they didn't call the number that is on his tag. The rude girl there lied and said that she tried to call us on Friday. We are discussed with this place. When I finally was able to pick up my dog his anxiety was so bad he could barely walk. This place doesn't deserve a single star!
I was really happy when they took in a cat I found and got him fixed right away but I had told them he was showing signs of an upper respitory infection. They told me a vet would check him out. The girls in there were very nice and helpful. 5 days later when I picked him up and adopted him they said he was fine. 2 days later he was really snotty so I called them back to make sure that a vet did check him. They insisted that my cat was fine and if I was worried to take him to a vet. Now my poor cat is severely sick, breathing is very raspy and he is sneezing blood. I'm upset because they knew he was sick yet sent him home anyway.
