Description Operation hours listed are the hours that our adoption center is open for animal adoptions. Anyone wishing to view or adopt animals may visit during these listed times. Animal Services staff is available at the facility for City of Wylie residents needing assistance not related to animal adoptions Monday thru Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm.

Walker was very helpful and he bestowed his knowledge upon us about how dogs should react to each other. I was not buying a dog for me. I was buying a dog for my dog so he could have a friend and at first I did not know if I should get him a friend that is his same age which is around 6 Or should I get him a puppy which he could possibly be like a father to. but my dog would never tell me one way or the other, so I had to decide for him.But anyway Walker showed me and my son how the dogs can get along or not. They got along immediately and they eventually got to where they were sniffing each other and he told me how my dog will do a light growlbut not a bark so much.but just to show the puppy that he's out of his place and so far we have had good luck other than a puppy being a puppy! ( He's only known about $40 worth of damage so far LOL) But I expect him to grow out of it soon. so I do appreciate Walker and his experience. You have a good person on your team.

Today I adopted a cute bassetoodle...at least that's what I call him. I came to facility two days in a row to ensure it was the right decision. All the officers were wonderful!! Soo helpful!!! Bentley is settling right in and I am so happy I adopted locally!!! ❤️ I will post a few pics under photos of Bentley for you to see. Thanks again! Teresa T.

Great staff here in person and quick when using the app. They do their best to reconnect, rehome and keep pets with their owners. Zero complaints here. They’ve been an ally more times than I can count. My girl came from here and they went above and beyond to help her find a home.

Man we made a choice to adopt Ollie and he is such a amazing pet he is already potty trained he loves the whole family man what a treat to have in our lives, please adopt you will not be disappointed. It was such a easy process, find one for your family, and thx to the people that made my experience so wonderful.
