These people are absolutely horrible at returning and answering emails, and they are also absolutely horrible at returning phone calls. I am trying to check on a puppy that I was considering getting because it's my dream puppy 🐶 but they have lost my customers service; please 🙏 do better in the future at responding to emails 📧 and phone 📱 calls 📞, because I was seriously considering getting Jazzie the Chocolate 🍫 goldendoodle puppy, but they also haven't told me how old she is either.
TLDR; Don't bother if you're trying to adopt online/remotely. Animal rescues are wonderful places to adopt and are often operated by the kindest, most compassionate people. Sadly, I never got a chance to work with Furry Friendzy because they literally do *NOT* respond to any of their published contact channels. I really hate to give a low rating to a rescue, but I really want to give a fair warning to anyone eagerly looking for a dog to adopt that you'll be better off working with your local shelters or another rescue instead of wasting your time waiting for Furry Friendzy to respond. Not only did I waste my time filling out their detailed adoption form (provided all references and requested information), I also followed up on my application after a few days via Instagram, text, and voicemail. I wasted more than a week thinking they'd actually review my application, and eventually contacted them to ask how long I should wait for the screening process to be over so I don't wait endlessly for them to respond. I never heard back after 1.5 weeks and they never even called any of my references. The sad part is, I see them post the same available dogs again and again on social media...and I can't help but think their negligence in actually responding to potential adopters is why many of the dogs remain unadopted for so long. It really seems like they parade the dogs in adoptions for fundraising or social media clout, but their top priority isn't actually to find forever homes for them. It's really a shame! Looking for a new dog/family member is an exciting and anxious time, and rescues should understand how important it is to respond timely to ensure they don't miss out on a great potential match for a dog. Maybe those who are local to their office are better off. Based on their Instagram, they seem to be more active and successful in live adoption events. For those like me who live more than an hour away from their office, seriously...don't even bother applying for a dog. If you're in the North Dallas area, check out Operation Kindness or Dallas Dog (@dallasdog_rrr). Both are sooo responsive and really do care more about animals than their social media accounts! My husband and I found our forever dog with Dallas Dog, and I can't recommend them enough!
I cannot overstate how wonderful our family’s experience was with this organization. Their website is easy to use, they do thorough checks to make sure adopters are genuine, their gift bags at pickup have so many useful items and lots of goodies, and the sweet pup we received from them is an absolute angel. We couldn’t be happier with our choice. Thank you, Furry Friendzy!
I have seen first hand how much these people love animal and do their best to help as many as possible. They are a class act! They do things right!
Fury Friends helped a mother and her pups that looked in need of help out of the cold and get help. We were so worried because it was cold out, and the mother would not come to him. She was very skidding until she had puppies under his wood pile. Thank God for the volunteers at Furry Friendzy and Friends of the Animals. They got them the help they needed. Thank you ladies.
Great owner who really loves all the animals she cares for. Highly recommend this rescue shelter.
