This agency did a fantastic job training and matching my mother with her service dog. He was a balance dog and was also trained to hit the first alert button for her. On several occasions he saved her life. I am forever grateful, but most importantly he saved her spirit and gave her independence while dealing with her disability. I can’t say enough about this company. They provide the utmost support, before, during and after.

BE ADVISED THIS AGENCY IS NOT A RECOGNIZED MEMBER OF ASSISTANCE DOGS INTERNATIONAL WHICH BRINGS INTO QUESTION THE LEGITIMACY OF ITS DOGS, TRAINING METHODS AND CLIENTS PROTECTIONS UNDER LAWS REGARDING PUBLIC ACCESS. THE TRAINERS INSIST THAT THEY DO NOT FORCE CLIENTS TO FUNDRAISE BUT THIS IS NOT TRUE. THE COMPANIES STATUS AS A NON PROFIT IS AT RISK AND HAS BEEN FOR QUITE SOME TIME. I WAS A CLIENT WAITING FOR MY SECOND DOG FROM AMAZING TAILS AND WHEN I REFUSED TO PAY 6,500 DOLLARS IN ADVANCE OF MY DOG AND I COMPLETING TRAINING MY CONTRACT WAS TERMINATED. IT TOOK OVER A YEAR HOWEVER I DID RECEIVE ALL MONIES THAT HAD BEEN DONATED ON MY BEHALF BACK AND WAS ABLE TO REFUND EVERYONE WHO DONATED ON MY BEHALF. ALTHOUGH, IN ORDER TO GET ALL OF THE MONEY REFUNDED INCLUDING THE CONTRACT PAYMENT I NEEDED TO THREATEN LEGAL ACTION ALONG WITH NEGATIVE PRESS COVERAGE. Amazing Tails is a service dog training center located in Oxford PA. What would have been my third service dog (second from Amazing Tails) would have been placed with me sometime in late June or early July. Back in November of 2013 I received 2 phone calls. The first phone call I received was from the trainer of my dog, Siobhan Cameron. In this phone call I was informed by Ms Cameron that the owner of Amazing Tails, Joanie Bussard could not pay the salary due Ms Cameron because of over ten thousand dollars in outstand debt. Later that same week I received a simlar call from Joanie Bussard which simply reinforced the training centers outstanding debt. While all of this is going on I was under contract with Amazing Tails. Under the terms of this contract I agreed to pay a total cost of $7000.00 and this fee is not due until the training of the dog is complete. As an act of good faith I have been making payments via paypal for the past year and a half. On Thursday April 24, 2014 I received a call from Ms. Cameron stating that the agency was having a problem meeting obligations to its creditors and that a young female client with Agoriphobia had raised more money then I had in less time. On April 25, 2014 I contacted Ms. Bussard to inform her that it was highly unprofessional to compare the funding efforts of clients based on his or her disability. It was also stated that I was not obligated to pay any fees or engage in fundraising until the training of my dog was complete. I became very concerned and made a written request for the last three yars of tax returns for this registerd 501(c)3 not for profit agency, As I am entiltied to this information under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). The agency responded by terminating my contract and returning a small portion of the funds that they had received both in direct payment and charity donations.
