Adopted my baby may- 10- 2024....he is such a good boy and very friendly...we had him nutered and treated for worms....he's totally worth it...I can't wait to take him with us to Jekyll Island this summer....will enjoy sunset walks on Driftwood beach and all the fun in the sun.... Monroe county animal services was great....the staff are friendly and helpful....Thank you Monroe county animal services.

Euthanized my dogs after 5 days. I offered to pay them to hold my dogs but they refused. My dogs were innocent family pets that had nothing to do with my family's crisis. These people don't care at all about pets.

October 25, 2021. I went in to register the stray cat to be neutered for the Nov 01, 2021 event. The staff were extremely helpful, and patient in answering questions I had and completing the paperwork for the S.A.F.E. event Thank you The resident black and white cat was very friendly. The cat really loved being pet. Sadly we will not be able to keep the 6 month old juvenile cat because it has calicivirus, and I have an older immune compromised cat I can't chance infecting.

My husband and I had been looking to adopt a dog for some time and really wanted to get a rescue. When we went here one of the lady's made a point to say we wouldn't be leaving with a dog the same day but we could put in an application and she would review it. Despite the offputting manner we still wanted to look. The entire facility inside smelled so bad I gagged immediately and had to walk to the outside area of dogs to keep from getting sick. The lady who showed us around was very nice and you could tell she really cares for the animals. We found a dog we wanted to adopt and went back to the office to get an application from the other lady. She then tells us that dog isn't up for adoption, even though previously all the outside dogs were available. I really hope that isn't how she treats all potential adopters. Because of her behavior we will no go back and all this does is make those babies suffer. We are long time dog owners and fond of rescues. We were able to find our new furbaby through another rescue.
