Description You never know what you'll find at the Pick. The Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA along with our dedicated volunteers operates the Pick of the Litter. All proceeds directly benefit the shelter animals at PHS/SPCA. The resale shop features various second-hand treasures including clothing, household items, art, jewelry, electronics, books, vintage and costume clothing, and a children's department. Seniors receive 25% off each Tuesday. DONATIONS Walk-in donations are welcome daily 10 AM until 11:30 AM or until FULL, Monday through Saturday. No donations are accepted on Sunday. Donations accepted include clothing, housewares, collectibles, books, records, tapes, CDs, art, jewelry and holiday decorations in saleable condition.

Wonderful thrift shop with special pet focus. Helpful, friendly staff. Everything is extremely well organized. Lots of vintage items - clothes, household goods, etc. High quality clothing and shoes. Special section for kids books and a small room with books for grown-ups. A large section of new and used items for pets. Great selection of carriers for pets. Parking is metered and easy or more difficult depending on time of day. The store is on a one way side street off the main shopping drag.

I'm not sure why this place gets such high reviews. Inventory sad, prices high. I guess if you want random tech t shirts to wear ironically this might work for you but for stylish up to date women's clothes, it was a bust both for my college student daughter and for me

great place, unfortunately it's hidden not everyone knows about it. Great selection of items, lots of animal stuff..(cages, play pens).. good selection of kitchen supplies. Place is kind of small and packed so may not see everything at first glance.

Lovely thrift shop with friendly employees. Lots of regulars here and the person working the register knew everyone. I found the selection better than Goodwill for non-clothing items. Lots of nice books, appliance items and seasonal items. They had some video games by the front where the pricier items were. You can still find some solid stuff towards the back, but all the nice stuff is at the front.

Great cause but the prices are high for donated goods. I was also turned off by the security tags on ALL clothing, regardless of condition. The only criminal act I witnessed was the $7 price tag on a ratty old sweater. Much easier to just donate to the humane society.
