Midway Animal Hospital provides the best compassionate care for Animals. On Monday I had a emergency with my newly adopted kitten I called to get him seen they had a 3:30 pm opening and took really good care of him. Thank you for your help car and compassion. Though I have been taking my other cat to Midway for over 10 years.I highly recommend them.

Staff is wonderful. Everyone is friendly, and they love our pets! They took care of my Layla, and now she's 100%. Vet is thorough when examining your animal. Tech was a sweetheart.

I cant say enough good things about the people that work here. They still have my baby and I'm not sure he will pull through but the compassion that they showed in this visit I cant even begin to describe how much I needed it and it will stay with me forever. I didn't have an appointment, but a true emergency and they got me in. They were the third vet I called today, including my own. I have been struggling to find a good vet in the area because I was pretty sure there weren't any from my experiences in the last 5 years of living in the area. I just feel blessed to have found them.

LOOK WHAT THIS VET DID TO MY DOG!! My dog was going to this place from 2019. We knew the dog had a small liver, what we were not told or given a detailed record of his visit that showed he had liver disease and crystals in his bladder. Over time the dog made the appointments and we told this place that we would pay for where the dog needed. Anyway, 2020 the dog peed blood, took him in and the vet said he was fine just nerves, was again not given full report from the visit. Over the next three years, we had ultrasound and bloodwork and vet would call and say all was well with him keep doing what we were with food and such. 1 month ago we went because he was acting like he had a stroke, again nothing wrong they said and did not give full report to us. Now 1 1/2 weeks ago the dog was walking funny and loosing weight. We were told he had pancreatitis and they gave us meds to give and we’re told to not force feed him. Three days went bay and another visit. Now he lost 5lbs. And was weak. Again was there and they gave IV and sent him home. Our buddy would cry out at night and we had no idea why, told the vet that too, but they said all was well. Anyway, I called this Monday and asked if he can be seen again because at this time he stopped eating and drinking, we were told to force feed him with a syringe, he would not eat. I was told after on hold a few min that the doctor said we can not help you and to take him to UF Small Animal Hospital in Gainesville. Upon arrival the tech said he was jaundice and took him right in. We we’re told that he had liver tumors and spleen tumors and there was nothing they could do at that point. We had to say goodbye! Not once did this place say, hay let’s get him more tests at the animal hospital but no they only wanted the vet visit money. So they misdiagnosed him, now he is gone and this place needs to be shut down!!! Don’t go here, they will not tell you the truth or give you a full report. Now we sit here and cry everyday because he was not given the care he needed or the test to find the cancer before this happened even thought the signs were clearly there. The doctor at UF said he should have gotten a CT scan 8 months ago, we were never told UF Small Animal Hospital was even there, the vet is to blame and we should have bees told to take him there. All the doctors left this place, we should have too but we put our faith in the vet, now we paid for it dearly!! We miss him so. They misdiagnosed him so they killed my dog! We found out all this after the records were sent to UF, it was too late by then.

So grateful for the staff that looked after my sweet Fluffy. She’s 21yo and was very sick with a kidney infection. She spent the night at an emergency clinic and then she was transferred to Midway Animal as they are her primary care vet clinic. From the moment I first talked with the clinic staff (i was able to easily get through at 8am when they opened), to the check in process (very quick and they came out to get her treatment started) and the initial examination (less than 30min after she was checked in) everyone was kind and reassuring. They loved on my girl like I do and she wasn’t terrified to be there. The attending Veterinarian was incredibly kind and nonjudgmental - especially about her diet which isn’t always the case. Her kidney and liver values improved under the continued care of the doctor and staff. 24 hours ago I was in despair believing I was going to have to make the most heartbreaking decision to say goodbye. She’s still not out of the woods but I know I will at least have another 24 hours with her, and hopefully longer. The bill was pretty expensive but that’s not unexpected with high acuity care. Thankfully they accept CareCredit 🙏🏻 Thank you to the entire team for helping us.
