Pet food express is a high end chain for quality pet foods, treats, and general care. They also have a self - grooming station to wash your dog. Lots of great dog and cat foods here like Origin and Stella and Chewey's.

The staff (especially Max :) is extremely knowledgeable about their products. The expansive selection and options for dog and cat food can be overwhelming, but just ask anyone working there and you'll get a pretty thorough animal diet education, plus recommendations. It's the only place I shop for my pets.

When the kitties and I moved to San Rafael, they got their new kitty stroller from here. I tried to support the local small pet store down the street, but the people there were extremely rude and never got back to me regarding pet strollers. Unfortunately for them, they tried to be nicer when they heard I was looking to donate money to local cat rescues....by then I had it with them and decided to shop at Pet Food Express. When the kitties and I recently moved, they got new toys, new fuzzy mice and a snazzy new filtered water fountain from P.F.E. The staff is nice and very helpful. I still support local pet stores (like Red Hill) when I can. Pet Food Express happens to carry larger selections of pet food and items all the time so it's convenient.

I’m blanking on the managers name, but he’s a very kind and knowledgeable person. He let my friend and I hang up a lost pet poster today which was very sweet. Every time he’s helped us he has amazing customer service and genuinely seems like he is interested in your pets health.

When ever I go in there I am always welcome by Francisco and the nice tall woman who I always forget her name and the young man in the glasses! When me and my husky go there they really make sure we are always satisfied with our purchases and never EVER miss treat us. Everyone who is always around my dog is so sweet and gentle and they have very high quality things for amazing prices and are always very honest and transparent! This is the best pet store in Marin even though it can be pricey sometimes but worth it if it helps out our favorite employees!

It's convenient, right near Safeway and many other stores in this center. Kept clean and with the loose products in the bins, buy 3 get one free. Nice staff and helpful, dogs welcome and doesn't smell bad. They have a very big selection of foods. You can bring your K9 to the dog run, back of Safeway, If your dog gets too dirty, you can wash them in a nice big washing station. One tip, buying frozen bones there can be expensive, but, Safeway has some in the frozen foods section for way less.
