My cat has a chronic condition of stomatitis that I’ve dealt with for 6 years… occasionally it flares up severely and he won’t eat or drink water. I recently moved to this area needed to get him treatment from someone local to keep him from getting more sick and dehydrated. This veterinarian Dr. Chambers was awesome! She was receptive to listen about his condition and the treatment he’s gotten to manage it. She explained concerns about his past treatments as far as controversy in vet medicine and offered treatment suggestions, while she was completely willing to go with his usual treatment if that’s what I wanted. I’ve been to vets that straight up suggested I euthanize my cat and/or wouldn’t take time to listen about his condition as far as what’s worked for him in particular. His condition is so challenging to manage and I appreciate this doctor’s patience dealing with us. Milo is an excellent patient, but I’m sure I can be an annoying and neurotic pet owner. I literally just want to cry when I see my little guy struggling and my anxiety is through the roof especially dealing with new veterinarians. Sorry if I was a pain in the butt. Thank you for taking such good care of him!!! Finally resting comfortably instead of hiding his face in the blanket.

Had to put one of fur babies down. She was a12 yrs old lab. We had appointment to see her vet at the end of July. Time wouldn’t wait. I honestly feel we waited a week longer than we should’ve. We were recommended to go here by our vet office. Staff was so understanding. The receptionist was kind and genuine. Price range was decent and reasonable. I can’t say thank you enough, I wasn’t judged because they knew my baby was truly sick and was on limited time. Bless you all.

I brought my chi-weenie in because she wasn’t feeling well. She was 9 did blood work and X-rays and she was full of cancer. They gave us a room with her for my kids and granddaughter to say their goodbyes! The staff made the transition incredibly amazing! Thank you for your kindness! They will be the only place I go when my dogs need to cross the rainbow 🌈 🐕

We brought our very sick 13 year old female cat Zoie up here thinking we may have to put her down but after some test ,the vet's diagnosis was a severe uniary track infection. She gave us a 7day oral antibiotic treatment all the time We're hoping it would help her as she was very sick. Well 9 days later she is a new cat playing and eating as if nothing happened! We highly recommend Thrive and will be using them from here and beyond.

It was my first visit here and I was impressed. My 10 month old kitten had been sick for a while. His vet and every vet in the area was booked out for over a week. I didn’t think he needed to visit the Emergency Vet, but I didn’t want him to continue to decline until his scheduled vet appointment next week. So after work I decided to walk into the Thrive Urgent Care Vet with him. I was informed of the long wait time as there was only one Dr at the moment and there were sedations going on in the back. The wait time was accurate. Everyone from the desk, technician, and doctor were pleasant. They treated my little guy and he finally perked up when we got back home. They had a whole regiment of meds for his every symptom. He’s still recovering, but I can rest easier knowing he’s on the road of recovery while me wait for his primary care vet appointment to approach. I would definitely recommend this place. Their hours are a little odd, but they fit that niche market of vet care for when it’s not quite an emergency but too alarming to wait for normal vet appointments. Their treatment prices seemed to be on par with what I usually spend at the normal vet. Their exam fee was just a bit more, but still cheaper than the emergency vet charges to be seen. The care they provided my Mordecai was worth it. I hope I never have a sick pet that needs medical attention again, but I would for sure choose to visit this urgent vet again if/when it happens. Thank y’all!
