I adopted Molly from Long Island Feline Adoption Center in January 2023 and Im glad i did and its been nothing but joy and love ever since. Molly is my first cat and I definitely was a bit nervous as I only had dogs previously and I knew the breeds were definitely different. As soon as I arrived at Feline Adoption Center Cheryll took her time to get to know me and my living situation and what I was looking for and matched me with Molly. I came in on a Monday and visited every day that week and went home with Molly that Saturday. Molly is such a sweet, beautiful and well behaved cat. Im so lucky to have her and Im so thankful to Cheryll for matching us Molly is what was missing from my life. Molly is so comfortable in her new home and its only been 5 months and I know that love and joy is only going to continue to grow as I hope she lives a long & happy life. Thank you so much to Cheryll and Long Island Feline Adoption Center!!! You are the BEST!!

So disappointed in this place...brought my kids in..spent time with all the kitties..workers were so nice..up until adoption process. I was interrogated...my references were interrogated..their jobs were called. I was accused of lying on the application. Complete insanity! I had a cat that was my love and part of my family....but since I missed a couple annual vaccinations for a perfectly healthy indoor cat I was unfit. Keep in mind i manage to keep three little humans alive and well every day. Feel sorry for the kitties that could have good homes!!

I volunteer at this adoption center, and there is no better place for cats looking to find a home. They are cared for and loved by volunteers and staff, with plenty of spots for relaxing and playing. The cage-free environment allows the cats to interact with one another, as well as prospective cat-parents! If you are looking for a feline friend, I highly recommend visiting this adoption center. And if you've already got the furry friends you need, consider donating!!
