Description Dominifarm Animal Sancutary, Inc. provides a permanent loving home for all types of rescued backyard farm animals. We make sure that they live out their entire lives in peace at the sanctuary, where they are treated with the kindness and respect they deserve. Our mission is to provide shelter, food, care and protection for the animals in our custody. Also, through farm tours and via social media, we give the animals a voice to tell the public their stories. Dominifarm’s rescued animals function as ambassadors so visitors and/or viewers can watch their daily lives, get to know each animal, and gain an appreciation for their species.
We absolutely loved our visit to the sanctuary!! It was so touching to see all the animals, learn their unique stories, and see how well they are cared for. If you’re considering booking is your it donating - do it! It was the highlight of our month!
My first visit at Dominfarm will not be my last! After visiting, I am so excited to begin to volunteer here. Dominique has a love for animals which she has extended to all these animals in need. She noticed there were shelters for cats & dogs but nothing around for farm animals in need, which is what enticed her to opening up her farm to animals in need. I love her story and love all that this farm has to offer. She host children events to kids with special needs, giving them a space to read to the animals. She has opened her farm to people with autism and offered them a safe space to slowly open up and learn how to socialize with people, by which then allowed for them to start their employment and be comfortable with socializing with people. Dominifarm is a reflection of Dominique’s big heart. The farm is completely cared for by volunteers and funded by donations. She hosts private Tours to help raise money and is constantly thinking of different fun fundraisers to help grow the farm. With all the projects on her list, I hope to provide as much help as I can in the coming up visits as I start to volunteer. If anyone is thinking about volunteering, I highly recommend spending your time here caring for all the beautiful animals.
The owner, Dominique was so sweet and so knowledgeable about the animals. I love how they genuinely care for their animals and my kids had so much fun learning about all the different animals on the farm. They even got to do some farm chore and scooped up some goat poop! I highly recommend taking a tour here!!
What an amazing place! Each gorgeous animal in this motley crew has its own unique backstory, which owner Dominique shares with gusto on her guided tours. It's a great place to take kiddos for a visit (ours raved about it for days afterward) and a worthwhile cause of keeping these previously mistreated animals fed, sheltered, celebrated, and loved!
I am a volunteer and can’t say enough about how kind and gentle all of the animals are. They are welcoming and curious. Dominique is kind as welcoming as well. She really cares about the animals and it shows. She offers tours of the farm where you can meet these fantastic animals too.
Dominifarm is full of love, empathy, compassion and healing. Many of the animals have traumatic pasts or were headed for the slaughterhouse- here they are seen as living, feeling beings and are treated with the utmost respect and kindness. Dominique is tremendously educated on the care and well-being of every single one of the animals. The farm is clean and well taken care of. The animals have lots of space that is cleaned daily. They receive as little or as much people interaction as they want each day. It’s a beautiful place. So grateful to have this here in Idaho!
