Willits Veterinary Hospital staff are very friendly and professional. I felt very comfortable leaving my Chico with them. The result of his exam were sent to my vet in a timely manor. The next day he was put on the medication to help him. I’m very pleased with the outcome.

They are often very busy and their schedules are filled but it is because of how GOOD they are at their jobs. I brought in my new cat and here are the things that impressed me: 1. The room was away from the dogs so my cat was not as freaked out by sounds/smells/sights. 2. The technician made sure to focus on confirming her health first. The appointment was just focused on that. No trimming, shots, microchipping, or anything that would make her first visit a traumatic event. 3. I brought in all the food/treats and the vet was able to talk through what I was offering and confirm dietary concerns for me. 4. I had done a lot of research but they answered all my really specific questions and concerns. 5. I was nervous my cat would be spicy at the vet, so I called the day before and they were willing to prescribe some gabapentin for her before her visit. I could not get her to eat it and she behaved well, but they were helpful, reassuring and quick with this request. They even were willing to send the prescription to one of their other offices that was closer to my work. Their flexibility and efforts don't go unnoticed! 6. When I left, I needed an itemized receipt for my pet insurance company and they had no issues with getting one ready even though it was at the end of the day. Throughout my whole visit, all the staff were friendly towards me and my pet. I never doubted their dedication to care and they made me feel much more comfortable about my feline friend's condition. 10/10 - Would not recommend as I selfishly want them to have more availability for appointments for my pet. Just kidding, if in doubt, take your pet here.

I took my small young puppy (2 1/2) to he Willits veterinary hospital because she seemed to suddenly become weak ?? I was able to get an appointment the day I called. Maureen Muller was great! she explained what she felt was wrong and answered all my questions. She was very thorough and put me at ease. Pun'kin was much better in a couple of days; just as she said. everyone was very nice and sooo helpful and caring. Thank you Winnie Rovig

Had more than fantastic time there! Carly, the doctor and Sophie were exceptionally incredible. I took my pup in, Tater tot, for a check up and they had a suspicion something was wrong. They did a few tests and they caught kidney disease in my dog before it got out of hand! I cannot thank them enough for their dedication and love for animals. Tater felt so comfortable the whole time (and was a champ!) While getting her tests done. I only won't an hour and a half there while they did a blood analysis, a urine test, and an IV! Rather than waiting days for results from one test, they wanted to make sure my best friend was in good health! The whole staff was so incredibly lovely! I wouldn't recommend anyone else in the valley to look after my senior dog. I'm blown away at the whole team for being amazing!!! Thank you for all you do!

The folks at Willits Veterinary Hospital in Glenwood Springs are terrific: responsive, informative, respectful, friendly. They do a great job calming my dog Trooper, who is always nervous entering a veterinary office. The Willits folks always manage to make him feel safe.

We love Dr Doug. He cares for our young rescue pup and helped us with advice due to her issues. The office staff is friendly and helpful too.
