Amazing edible tour through Mvcc-never knew trails existed here
Wholeheartedly, Spring Farm CARES is an absolute blessing to visit, and I absolutely adore volunteering here every week. The staff here are lovely; it is apparent that they give a lot of love and attention to the animals they rescue and the environment they live comfortably in. To the point where I jested with my partner recently about how I would honestly love to live as comfortably as these cats do. 😆 The staff also kept me updated about how the cats are doing, even though they aren't required to. Nevertheless, I appreciate it so much. Spending time with the kitties and other animals gives me such a sense of contentment and peace that I can't pin anywhere else but here. All in all, for the cats and other animals you rescue and take enthused and loving care of, and for giving the community such a peaceful and relaxing place to come to openly, I thank you so so much.
There is not enough time or the right words to describe the beauty of the land, the people, and the animals here! I have waited 2 years to come for a class by Dawn Hayman; and it was well worth the wait. She, Bonnie, Margot, Nancy and all of the staff I met are the most fantastic humans I have encountered. My dream is to live and work here someday. Until we meet again....
Fantastic place. It's a beautiful area that is doing amazing work. The staff is so friendly and they take great care of the kitties and animals there. Donate if you can, but regardless go there and play with the cats!
I just came back from a weekend at Spring Farm CARES, and I am INVIGORATED!! This is the best run animal sanctuary I have ever visited, and the only one where I have been able to go into every single space where an animal is kept. And there were no terrified animals, which is really unusual for an animal sanctuary, particularly one which takes in so many animals from abuse cases. You can see that every single animal receives love, attention, and excellent care. :) I had never been around donkeys before, so they were particularly adorable, but there were so many friendly animals to meet and pet! And their human caretakers were all incredibly nice and gracious, and you can tell they truly care for everyone there. Plus the farm is in an absolutely gorgeous setting. You will come away refreshed, happy, and full of love for all of these creatures. And beware the negative comments from a former cruel employee who was fired for her erratic behavior towards the animals. :( I sincerely hope she gets help, but don’t let it stop you from visiting this amazing place - you’ll love it!
In every way, this is a wonderful and life-changing place. Having visited here for over 20 years, I have experienced many incredible workshops and witnessed their unique and beautiful way of creating sanctuary that shows love and respect for all animals and people, meeting them as they are. This means caring for healthy animals as well as those who are ill or elderly, with the individual care they need physically and emotionally. People get to have a place to communicate and interact with animals and nature in a way where fear falls away and love, kindness and respect rule. This place is the life's work of the directors, and the staff are good people. There are no animals here to feel sorry for - come and visit and let them show you how to open your heart!
