I love Dr. Brenner! He is absolutely the Best! My dog is antisocial and only loves people she knows BUT he still loves her like she was his own.....! And does EVERYTHING HE CAN to help and RULE EVERYTHING OUT!!!! ALL she had was a uterus infection cause she is a little fatty with "LOVE HANDLES" His words!!!! Hahahaha
Had to take our dog here last minute and they were the only place that could get us in that day without an appointment. Staff and Dr were highly professional. Our dog doesn’t like the vet but they handled him with care. Thank you.
Took my foster cat, Callie, here yesterday. Dr. Brenner is wonderful and friendly and so helpful, as are his staff. We had a great long conversation about the issue I brought her in for, as well as other future-care things he noticed while observing her. Only complaint is that they don't really provide print-outs of the visit, which is a bit of a challenge for me as someone with a cognitive disability that affects my memory and auditory processing. Dr. Brenner is also a very vocal advocate for the importance of keeping cats at a healthy weight, and we had a great chat about current science/studies around obesity in pets. As an animal advocate/rescuer, I have seen the impact in a cat I adopted who was obese for many years until I took him. Nothing was more painful than losing him to congestive heart failure and watching him drown slowly as his lungs filled with fluid as we raced to the ER. The work Dr. Brenner does will certainly spare many pets from this horrible death. Pro tip for first timers: the entrance does come up a bit quick if you're coming south down Route 1, so just stay to the right and look for the sign.
great doctors and staff! My kitty was neutered here and everything went well! i recommend this establishment to dog and cat parents!
In the world of veterinary care, Brenner Animal Hospital stands as a shining beacon of dedication, compassion, and expertise. After grappling with a misdiagnosis from another clinic, I brought my cat to Brenner, hopeful but wary. Their team not only pinpointed the issue (a kidney stone) swiftly, but they also guided me through every step of the treatment process with grace and genuine concern. The surgery they performed on my cat was nothing short of exemplary. But it wasn't just their medical proficiency that won me over; it was their unparalleled post-surgical care. A follow-up call to check on my cat's well-being showcased their commitment to the animals they treat, reminding me that true caregivers still exist in this industry. Moreover, the ambiance of Brenner Animal Hospital is comforting and inviting, thanks in large part to their phenomenal staff. Every individual I interacted with exuded warmth, friendliness, and a deep-seated love for animals. In a world where it's challenging to find genuine and dedicated care, Brenner Animal Hospital emerges as the gold standard. Every pet deserves the kind of love and attention this team provides. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
I am little taken back from my most recent experience. My pet just recently became a new patient here because this place was recommended by one of my closest friends. She takes her pet here (and she is very picky about where she goes) and well I saw the reviews so I felt confident about my decision. However, today I took my dog for his his Lyme booster shot. They said that my dog was there for two shots. I asked what do you mean "two shots." The gentlemen then said it was Flu and Lyme but that they may not have the Lyme. In my head, I am thinking why am I here and why wouldn't they call me to tell me that. The two front desk employees seemed to be bothered by the fact that I was questioning why he was getting a second shot for the Flu. I had to explain to them, that no one explained that to me when I was there last. They apologized so it seemed to be fine.. at the moment. When my dog was done with his shots, I checked out. One of the above mentioned employees (I wish I had their names) stated that she was "removing a charge" since no one explained to me about the Flu booster. I paid the bill and thanked her and left the office. I got home and looked at the bill again I noticed that I was still charged for the booster shot. So I called the office to verify the charge and I asked her "was I still supposed to be charged for the Flu shot?" She responded that "yes, I only took off the surgical tech charge." I asked her "what do you mean, what is that, because I have never heard of that?" She explained what it was but I told her that I have had a previous visit outside of the doctor visit and was never charged for this fee, so I am confused. Her only response was "Well consider it a blessing." Tell me how is this professional?? I am not claiming to be the nicest person in the world but is this how you speak to your clients?? I had to call my friend and tell her what happened because I little taken back. I know I am not the only one that would question and inquire about a bill they have to pay.
