After trying to go to our usual vet clinic with our sick dog and being told there was a 2+ hour wait, we made an appointment at Calera Animal Hospital for the same day. The staff was so kind and they took their time with us. They helped us come to a very difficult decision about our best friend. Samson, our very sick 11 year old boxer, gave Dr. Kalen some of his famous kisses as soon as he met her, so we knew she had to be good people 😘. She sat on the floor, loved on him, and cried with us as we decided what was best for him. She came to our home to allow Samson to be comfortable, outside, and in his favorite place as he passed. I am so grateful for Dr. Kalen for helping us through the hardest day. You are an angel and we will never take our animals anywhere else.

So happy with this place. They did a wonderful job taking care of my Callelope. She bounced right back from being spayed. The incision site was tiny, and she was right back to her old, rambunctious, playful self in two days.

This clinic helps with rescue organizations also. Atleast one that I work and volunteer for. I currently have my two foster puppies getting neutered here. First impression was the staff's friendliness and smiles. I went outside to get my two pups and one of the technicians ran out behind me so I wouldn't have to carry both of them without help. That was very kind and I appreciate that, even though I didn't ask. This mother of two drove over a hour to get to this clinic and having help that early in the morning, made my day 🥹!! I've heard the surgery went well and we are going to pick up the pups now. Thank you again Calera Animal Clinic for helping Two by Two and other rescues. We really appreciate it. 5 stars! 😍 ❣️

They have been very easy to work in a feral cat that was injured and last minute immunizations for us. The staff is friendly and efficient. We are glad we have them as an option for our fur babies!

We absolutely love calera animal hospital. They’ve always taken such great care of our family pets and even us when we’ve had to say emotional goodbyes to two of them. They were so empathetic to our loss and made us feel completely validated with our emotions losing our furry family members. We also board our animals here when we have to travel and the animals get excited thinking it’s a vacation, especially our German shepherd. Highly recommend!

This place is absolutely amazing! I love the staff here so much. They sincerely care about the animals in their care. My last visit ran a little long, but there was a lot of people that day (right before memorial day, so everyone was re-upping their dogs shots or dropping off for boarding) and my pup needed a lot of tests (his kidneys are failing) but the staff always is in a good mood and does their best to explain everything you need to know about the medicine you are receiving and the reasons for the pets issues. I won't take my animals anywhere else!
