Fascinating place and great mission. Being that close up to a bald eagle was awesome. The nature trail nearby was fun and beautiful. Overall we spent about an hour and a half there. We walked to it from the cruise terminal which was a relatively flat walk until the last bit as there’s a slight hill to get up the driveway to the center.

Loved it all. Our driver was wonderful. Wish I could remember his name. The hike through the forest with all the totem poles and the explanation of salmon was terrific. And seeing all the eagles!!! What a treat. Loved the bears. Would highly recommend!!

This place was awesome. Loved that it’s a place to rehabilitate raptors and other birds. My favorite was seeing the bald eagles in the middle of their rehabilitation, you don’t expect them to be so big when you haven’t seen them up that close.

Tiktok @conniesreviews My husband absolutely loves eagles and this place was spectacular to visit. There are Eagles flying all around the area but we were able to see some eagles, owls, and a couple other raptors while there. We walked there from the port and it only took us about 13 minutes to get there. The walk was beautiful and fairly easy. It's almost all flat except for 2 small hills. I'm not in the best of shape and it was very doable. You pay an entrance fee and get a wristband. They have a lovely gift shop. The staff were very nice, full of knowledge and very helpful. If you love raptors, this is a must-see on your cruise stop or other site-seeing adventure. We had plenty of time during our port stop to walk over, visit for an hour, walk back to port and do a scheduled excursion.

The folks here are doing great work to rehabilitate injured raptors. We were so happy we got to see this place; it’s been a bucket list dream ever since we first saw it on NatGeo. Keep up the awesome job!

Educational facilities about different kinds of raptors and a rehab place for them. There were several bald eagles but also another raptor. A super cute little owl with only one eye for example. There is a little introduction with a staff member, then a short video, and time to explore on your own. A little trail around the creek. A lot of information to process in signs around the center. Of course, there is a gift shop with good stuff. Restroom clean with flushing toilet.
