I went because I found two puppies in Oakdale. I understand that they can't accept them because "they're not in the city limits," but the service of the officer who was there seemed rude and in a bad way. It was noticeable that she was upset because I didn't speak English and because I asked her questions. It's the second time I've gone and they don't help me.👎👎👎👎👎👎How sad that there are these types of people serving.

The Oakdale animal shelter has an incredible staff that does a wonderful job. They take in cats and dogs from Oakdale and surrounding areas such as Riverbank and Escalon, providing care and needed attention. Please help them in their mission to provide responsible and quality pet ownership by adopting a furry friend in need.

Found an abandoned kitten and brought it over. The women in the office were very nice and professional although I'm sure they hate seeing animals brought in, but I couldn't keep it or I would've. But they were very gracious about it, vaccinated him right there and put him with a few other kittens right there in the office.

Fantastic knowledgeable staff. The officers were kind and considerate and you can see that by how gently they handled the animals there. I like it that there are no kill shelter.
