I found an injured opossum carrying a baby in my yard early this morning. We contained them so our animals couldn't get them. After finding out who to contact I filled out the intake form online and within 5 minutes had a call. Within 30 minutes they were rescuing momma and her baby. Much appreciated Shelly! Thank you so much!

I have had good experiences in the past. However, recently I had a thriving baby bird my cat brought in. It was a nestling. It was wanting food, moving, breathing....Anyway I was in touch with a wonderful woman who was trying to help me. She could not get a bird person to contact me. I am very upset as it was a baby who needed help. I could not find the nest. I am very upset.

My daughter had an injured squirrel outside her house and she filled out a form online at the Bidwell Wildlife Rehabilitation center and immediately a volunteer contacted her. Within 20 minutes that volunteer picked up the squirrel and took it to the vet. AMAZING! My daughter was so thankful as she was so worried about the squirrel suffering. Thank you to the volunteers!

My cat ditched his collar with bells and proceeded to bring home a live bird. I saved the bird and contacted Bidwell wildlife. They came out and got the bird and hopefully it survived. They were so very nice and helpful

My husband and I found a baby squirrel on a path in 5 mile park. He was kicking and fighting off flies but wasn't running away. We helped him onto his feet and he fell over again. We called and spoke with Sandy and she instructed us to take him to Valley Oak for assessment. We rushed him over to them and handed him off. I'm so glad that she was there to tell us that they could help, otherwise we would have left him and he surely would have died. Thank you for what you do!!

Super helpful and responsive! Found a squirrel in distress downtown early in the morning, filled out the online form and they got back to me within minutes. I couldn’t take the little guy to the vet so they came and picked him up and took him, all done within a couple hours! Amazing work
