Very friendly very clean and some dogs were ready or not thank you for dog Maltese she's so playful regardless of her leg being missed up. It doesn't bother her at all jumps on bed and couch with no problem thank you staff

Paid 40 to take in 2 dogs due to reason that we had to move out our place and we cldnt take them with us and had a dog bite me and dog pound picked him up when I called to check if I can at least get a paw copy because I had that dog for 3 years and when you love a dog u know that is family yes I KNW he did wrong and the staff were being very rude and the other dogs I haven seen them at all in the shelter. The staff have been very rude Ihad questions and wanted collar back and I just got a hung up phone call. This place needs to be aware of who they are hiring it's not my fault my dog put up a fight and scared them but let me know what is really goin on.

Very clean! Everyone seemed to have a passion for animal welfare and kindness. They took an injured bird I found at Pendleton Park without hesitation.

Went there looking into adopting a puppy! Gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, but a lady in the back office was rude! Was told the animals were not available for adoption due to an illness! Left very disappointed, especially with the ladies' rudeness!

Rebranding doesn’t change the simple fact that you don’t help animals in need. Changed the name in 2024 but still worthless. This is the second time I have tried to find a home for kittens from a stray in the last 2 years and it’s always the same answer. “We’re not currently accepting animals” What exactly do you do there? It’s very frustrating.

The Harlingen Animal Shelter is doing a great job placing their fur babies in forever homes. I just wish the residents of Harlingen would give the Shelter the support they need. Remember is not about your feelings but the care of every animal that comes through their doors. "Don't hate Support"
