Heather and her staff took the time to answer questions via Messenger after hours. They were honest about the behaviors of the dogs and gave helpful advice and tips! They provided honest answers to all of our questions and were upfront if they were unsure of the answer. They were patient as we met the pups and spent time with them! We never felt rushed to make a decision. They ensured we adopted a pup that would get along with our current pup through allowing the pups to play and interact with one another for as long as we needed. The pups have become best friends!

These people are stupid. We went there to adopt a cat and they treated us like we were criminals! No wonder they euthanize so many animals there. I wouldn't get an animal from them if they were the last people in town!

Looking for a Dog after the passing of one of our dogs due to Old Age. Needing a playmate for 8yr old dog Carlos. They asked us to bring Carlos with us and after watching Several dogs interact with him we came home with Kodi, a Six-month old Shitzu LhasaApso mix puppy. PERFECT match. The Staff at Golden Belt Humane Society Really know what they are doing. Thank you Golden Belt Humane Society.

If I could give these guys all the stars in the galaxy I would. I notified them about my cat being missing in the morning and by the end of the day they found my sweet kitty several miles away from home. The staff were incredibly friendly and so joyful that we were reunited. I would also highly recommend adopting any pet from here. All the animals are taken very good care of. Love love love these guys!!!!

The staff is rude and inconsiderate. Seeing how the animal's behaved, I'd strongly suggest having this "protection" shelter looked into thoroughly. Go to the hutchinson, kansas, kingman, pratt, pawnee, caring hand's, wellington, literally ANY humane society if you want a good home for your pet or if you want a good pet for your home. All of the five star review's are fake.
