We adopted Pruella, now Aspen, at the Sapulpa Animal Shelter back in January. The shelter was very clean and nice. We were able to meet several dogs in a private room to see which was the right fit. Aspen was up to date on all her shots and she was fixed. The staff was very friendly and the process was very simple. We love our girl! Thank you Sapulpa animal shelter!
The staff are extremely kind and helpful. We did happen to adopt a cat that they didn't know was pregnant. While that was unexpected, the staff were very apologetic and offered to take her and the kittens. We decided that everything happens for a reason and kept them. The shelter did take care of all the spaying and neutering as well as offered to take care of the shots. I do not blame the staff at all. I think it's the system being overwhelmed. So make sure to spay and neuter your pets!
On Saturday we adopted the sweetest most beautiful cat ever!!! We love him so much already. The lady who helped us is so kind and patient. I had all kinds of questions and she took the time to answer each and every one of them for me. If you're looking for a pet, it's the perfect place to go!!!
We Love our beautiful new family member! Her name was Daphne but we changed it to Violet. Thank you Sapulpa Animal Shelter!
We decided to get a cat on Halloween after much thought and ended up at Sapulpa Animal Shelter. So many people are discouraged from adopting on a holiday but it was special for my husband and I. We adopted Johnny and we kept his name. He’s been the absolute best cat around. He loves our dogs and has had a clean bill of health from our vet. I cannot recommend sapulpa animal shelter enough for their kiddos that just need a good home.
I adopted a cat from this place and the cat is super sweet but when I took him he got sick so I had to get some medicine for him. Then after I took him back to get neutered and he is now sick again not eating and then the lady was rude just said we had to take him to a vet and he did not get sick from this place. He was fine beforehand and the animals were mostly all sickly looking from the animal shelter. Rather than giving my cat medicine they would rather just me surrender him but I will be taking him to a vet but I do not recommend this place.
